I have been looking at a lot of different fan versions of Jei and as much as I love them, I must fuck up more this wolf. So Jei is just a soules corpse.

For Jotaro and his curse, I still don't have much for the Yokai who cursed him but the village calls them ¨No Name¨ and that gives a hint on how the curse works.

Also, I love Stan Sakai's drawing style! The simple details make this comic so good!!

So as I'm sure those of you in the SRTUC Community are aware of the AU where Jei, aka Jei-san, The Demon Priest, Jizonobu, Blade of the Gods, etc, is the father of our main character Yuichi Usagi.

And I was like oh hell yeah I can get behind this and went on to design Yuichi's mom

And the doomed romance

She's dressed in a Kyūdō-like uniform as samurai were trained in swordsmanship, archery, horsemanship and other things. As an explanation of why Auntie has a sword to pass on but Usagi's mom didn't, she wasn't a samurai who wielded a sword but one who wielded a bow.

There's an antagonist in the Yojimbo comics who was a samurai who instead of using traditional daisho used claw weapons, and historically there have been units of samurai that specialized in certain weapons.

I named her Yuichi Ayumi! She has two ways to get offed by Jei:

Died during childbirth, a tragedy, Usagi never knows his mom, Jei feels heretical bitterness towards his gods for allowing this to happen before shoving that feeling deep, deep down as he is a loyal servant and the will of the gods is his will, before fucking off to continue their work until fatefully reuniting with his son years down the line...

After enjoying a few years playing house, Usagi is young enough to have little to no memory of his parents, Jei's gods ordered him to kill the sinful descendants of Miyamoto Usagi, however, (after shoving down his heretical feelings of sorrow for his wife) while moving on to kill his sister-in-law, she was able to get help to seal/exorcise him away(one of the Kaikishi warriors that wasn't Testujin that didn't survive the encounter? Sasuké the Demon Queller?), but like Jason Vorhees, Jei-san always comes back...

However... as I continued thinking about this AU I realized... Jei doesn't need a male host...and doesn't mind being referred to in a feminine way when inhabiting one...

And thus,

Mama!Jei AU!

I’m insane,I’m crazy so I made Jei in the samurai rabbit:the usagi chronicals and basically(for the story) many decades after Miyamoto defeats Jei,descendant of Keiko hearing all great stories of uncle jei and all the good he was going to bring to the earth make a deal with the gods to bring his soul back so he can continue all his great doings(killing people who he deemeds sinfull) and that was he does for almost 50 years,changing forms every so often,he already met usagi once when he first went to his home village where he ki||ed his mother and possessed his father,Jei wanted to get rid of usagi the moment he knew he was Miyamoto’s grandson but yuichi(who was only 5)was deemed inocent by the gods couldn’t be punished for his ancestor sins and so Jei let him go(for the time being)once he leaves in his fathers body,yuichi’s aunt takes him in and to help usagi forget all the horrible stuff that just happend uses an old spell that makes him forget everything about jei(only knowing him from the Miyamoto comics)

Usagi will meet Jei again 14 years later(when he is 19)after Jei hears about the famous descendant of Miyamoto Usagi who freed the yokai and stop an alian invasion
