Unfortunately, the 6 Hours of Imola was not kind for the team. At the start, Sarah got a hit from behind which damaged one of the sensors on the car, responsible for providing crucial data. The mechanics fixed the car but being 18 laps down, the team decided to retire the car after running a few more laps.

While this hurts very much after last week's similar situation from Barcelona, the Iron Dames will bounce back even stronger and will fight again at the next race!

hey everyone! i’m bee (she/her), a 19 year old stem major!

although i only started following f1 and other motorsport series 10 months ago, supporting female racers became quickly an important matter to me.

this blog is the expression of my adoration and admiration of these women, fighting against discrimination and bias on and off-track.

i’ll be mainly posting about the iron dames racing team and other inspiring women in motorsport. 

as their motto says: women driven by dreams. because every woman can reach her goals, when fuelled by hard work, resilience, and passion.
