Fluff | What hits their soft spot? Does anything turn them into emotional goo?

I have a feeling that this was meant to be a fluffy question, but —-

Talk to her about her family, about maybes concerning her decision to run back in 1492 — Elijah had been looking into a way to save the doppelgänger while still completing the ritual. Had she not run, might she have survived, and her family along with her? Tell Katherine Pierce, who has vampiric strength and five hundred years to grow vicious, that she could have fought harder to keep her daughter as a seventeen year old human. Or that there was more effort she could have spared as a new vampire, struggling to live nocturnally, learning the advantages and boundaries of being undead, running, in searching for her daughter. 

Also… tell her that Stefan said hi. ( The trash emerges. )Reciprocate her affections; she’s not incapable, but it would be quite a treat to not be so utterly alone. She likes sincerity. Heroes. 

Pistol | Is this character skilled with a weapon? What’s their opinion on violence?

As much as I dislike quoting / acknowledging season five, it’s true. She’s never needed, nor felt the need, to learn how to use weapons. Anything beyond the blatantly obvious…

Though she is not above indulging in it for sport from time to time; violence is, more often, simply necessity. ( Necessity being a slightly inaccurate term, acting as a result of jealousy would count as good reason to her. ) The act itself holds little weight to her — she certainly does not emphatise with her victims and has, over the years, grown numb to it all, or too used to the idea that it’s simply in a vampire’s nature. It’s enjoyable, no doubt, but simply a means to her ends.

3, 10, 33.

3. brothers, sisters? who do they like? why? what do they despise about their siblings?

'despise' is going a little far, but there are things about her brothers that irritate her. less so, with max; since his death, her mind seems to have glossed over his flaws (like how loudly he snored, or how his laugh could be so shrieking it hurt her ears). but she gets a little pissed off with alec's constant need to make sure she's safe (something that has grown since max's death) & his willingness to put himself into danger to make sure she stays out of it-- though this is also one of the things she grudgingly loves about him. she also appreciates his bluntness, since she shares the trait herself. as for jace, she has a love/hate relationship with most of his personality. they're similar in some ways, after all, though that can, on occasion, cause conflict between them.

10. is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

isabelle has some of what would count as 'street' smarts, though the shadowhunter version. she's very good at picking up on the little nuances of conversation/manipulation & she's learned how to use these little tidbits against people, though there are times where she charges in blindly, either not noticing or not caring about what other information could be found. she's not exactly an intellectual; much preferring to learn by doing rather than by reading. but she's still read the required reading on runes, etc, as her parents made her.

33. do they drink? take drugs? what about their health? 

yes, isabelle is a drinker; something that stemmed mostly from rebellion against her straight-laced shadowhunter parents, but that grew with her exposure to the new york nightlife & the occasional recklessness of jace. as for drugs; only on occasion. she's a lot more careful about that kind of thing, & all too aware of the effect it'll have on her body.
