Vegas loses game seven and the Stars will advance to round 2.

You know when we started having a ton of injuries at the beginning of the season I wondered if this was going to be similar to 2022 (the year we didn’t make the playoffs) with so many injuries. Not only did we make it into the first round we didn’t get swept and we held it to a game seven. Plus it wasn’t a blowout or a shutout, it was a close game and I can say that I think we did well this season.

I was excited when Howden managed to tie the game with a beautiful pass from Amadio and it went behind Oettinger because he wa so far out.

The one thing that frustrated me about this game was the fact that there were some wide missed chances. The firsts Stars goal was so lucky, the puck went off the post after Marchessault hit it and it went all the way back and Johnston took it and scored.

I feel bad for Eichel he looked so haunted when he missed that wide net.

Of course the game winning goal for Dallas was a deflection, I feel really bad for Martinez, there has been so many pucks banked off him this season.

It was a heck of a series and a battle all the way through (I would be lying if I said I wasn’t upset because yeah we lost a series and I was rooting for my team).

This offseason gives the Knights a chance to heal because Hague hasn’t played since game one due to an injury, Karlsson has missed several before game practices during the series, and now Stone looked labored as he took a hit to the back and to his ribs. I don’t want to see any more VGK players battle through injuries this season, no cup is worth forcing a player to be in pain (and shame on anyone who wishes any pain on a player on an opposing team).

Just watched Dallas/Vegas game 6 and Vegas VS Dallas is quite the opposite of Boston/Toronto : everyone works and you don’t have a single minute to get bored.

That’s pure beauty and truly the hockey I DO love. I wanted so badly a game 7 just because I can’t get tired of these two teams together 🥰

This kind of game makes me so demanding ! I can’t watch anymore NL or the national swiss team without getting bored now.
