So y’all know how unnerved is lowkey a different extension of fmo (if reader was frankly leaned into being messy). I was thinking about what would be the modern/djats (I guess Valyria since I like that name) version of unnerved. And it came to me.

Reader started as child actress/singer (think Britney, Christina.. basically all the female Disney/nick acts. Or even like brandy with Cinderella/moesha. Wholesome image). She’s ready to shed her good girl image for her second album as she transitions into womanhood. Her label thinks some collabs with unconventional artist choices would help. Enter the targs and their group

Aemond is, of course, against this. He does not want some teeny bopper girl ruining the image he has perfectly crafted for the group. He gets outvoted by the group (Helaena is a big fan of reader’s lmao, Aegon and quinton just think she’s hot so they’re for it). It’s a mess. Aemond and reader instantly butt heads. It doesn’t help when he walks in on her and Aegon snorting coke 🫠.

But in the vein of unnerved, reader is accurately aware of her role/image as a woman. She understands how sex sells in music. It causes a lot of disassociation with her own life. A toxic pattern of not wanting that to be her lot in life but also sort of getting a sick sort of rush from using it to tease people.
