Last night, I was literally glued to my laptop screen for over three hours watching a ping-pong match in Georgia between Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.  By the time the race was finally called (the better candidate did win, in case any don’t know yet) at around 10:30, I was exhausted and my eyes felt like sandpaper, for I didn’t even blink much!  So, long story short, today’s ‘good people’…

I’m in South Africa learning about the steps @vetpaw , @karmagawa , and @rhinorescueproject are taking to combat poachers.  These Rhinos are being killed and pushed toward extinction for their horns which provide no medicinal value.  The two Rhinos seen In the video were near a road that is actively used by poachers, and under the supervision of Vetpaw and the private game reserve, we used the drone try and push them to a safer area.  While this shot turned out beautiful, under any other circumstances I should not have flown this close to the animals.  Please visit

Wildlife Protection Service In Africa

At VETPAW we are a team formed by veterans. We offer wildlife protection service in Africa, fighting against the injustice of animal hunters who are pushing to the edge the extinction of wildlife animals. We perform our job everyday aiming to raise awareness all around this community. 

Everyday we work assisting animals such as elephants, rhinos and giraffes, who are constantly being harassed by poachers because of the value of their horns in the black market. Nowadays, an elephant is killed every fifteen minutes for their ivory and a rhino is taken down for its horns every eight hours. At that speed, we will be able to show future generations what these animals were like just by pictures. 

Is due to this fact that VETPAW’s mission is to utilize the skills U.S. Veterans own to train anti-poaching wildlife rangers and support their communities. Our goal is to encourage the survival of critically threatened wildlife while serving the men and women who’ve served their country.

🌳🏗 Nature vs. Man 🏗🌳 I don’t want to make this a long one, as I hope the art piece speaks for itself with room for your own interpretation... I was inspired to create this for various reasons, global warming, deforestation, extinction, pollution etc. It can be overwhelming when you see and read up on such subjects, however you don’t have to dive into a whole new way of life if we simply just start by making more of a conscious decision to recycle, then you’re already contributing to help reduce the amount of rubbish we dump into landfills and the sea.
