#vian and yaevinn are very different in many ways but they get along quite well

i feel really icky and anxious rn so i'm listening to calzonification on repeat because it has healing powers actually i think. so have a comparison of my ttrpg blorbos playing pizza tower because character analysis is all i am and i am content with this. this could be applicable to any video game but pizza tower has consumed my brain.

vian is a completionist and is probably interested in speedrunning. they have 101%'d a peppino run AND a the noise run, and they have practiced relentlessly to learn the advanced movement tech. due to it being low stakes, they're pretty easy on themselves for making mistakes, especially because they know exactly how to fix it.

yaevinn probably doesn't go for 100% or 101%, and he doesn't really go for p-ranks. i think if he did, it'd be over a really long time, only really doing it when he wants to; same with advanced movement tech. otherwise he's happy to play the game and leave it "incomplete" indefinitely. he's also pretty easy on himself wrt mistakes, but less in an "okay i know how to do that better, let's try again" and more in an "oh lmfao i have a super jump oops". furthest he probably "grinds" is for all A's, MAYBE all P-ranks on bosses specifically.

both listen to the soundtrack regularly and enjoy playing the songs a lot (vian learns bass parts, yaevinn plays melodies he likes—i think they both like the triple meter of calzonification a lot). they are both having the time of their fucking lives, albeit expressed differently between them. ironically, i think both of them are interested in p-ranks and speedruns, but vian is the only one of them who really wants to execute it, since grinding for that kind of thing is their play style. i think both of their first times going through is more fucking around and finding out than anything, and they both get a kick out of peppino's animations. and both of them are having fun with their respective playstyles <3

they are best friends and play swap mode together :)
