Fear lessens with the benevolence of Sanskaar .. resoluteness rises .. gives strength and the firm ability to live life ..

In our lives and particularly in our early years Ma and Babuji always gave prominence to 'sanskaar' .. in the way we were brought up .. and in the way several others were brought up too .. it's a refined quality that was inculcated in us ..

That is something that we all treasure as our greatest gift from generations and from the teachings of our elders ..

And today while I waited for the Internet to be alive again, after the net people said for the nth time, that the cable has been cut due to the digging .. I just scrambled through the lists as they came up and for some reason saw the poster of SARKAR ..

started seeing the film - had not seen it since its Premier release - and was glued to it .. in absolute amazement at the quality of the film, its direction and above all , and this is not a Father speaking , dazzled by Abhishek's performance .. what restrain what close up what eye expressions , what presence and what a performance ..

I am no where in the film .. seriously .. it was all Abhishek .. watch it again and see for yourself .. every little nuance and look and silence , simply stunning ..

This is not a Father speaking .. it is a true evaluator of cinema speaking .. nothing in the range of depreciation or modesty, it is a true appreciation of the craft of the film and of Abhishek ..

Some we shall execute , some we shall think about and some shall achieve fruition ..

But all shall be the design of them that control our design .. and nurture it for generations ..

Each day brings a revelation , a surprise , a factual birth , an enduring lasting need for the future ..

Some follow the binding .. some prepare for it .. and see it though ..

And some allow to be taken along .. they execute the faith and the gratitude of the masses ...

The will and the strength of purpose needs heeding .. yes understand and respect the strength of the lone ranger .. they do well too .. and they envelop dignity and respect and following .. it shall percolate .. sift through all else .. ..

पूज्य बाबूजी जब तुलसीदास रामायण में, दीपावली की पूजा जब रामायण पढ़ के करते थे , तो वे इस स्तुति को इसी सुर में पढ़ा करते थे । मैंने इसे एक धुन में डाल कर, संगीत के साथ , आज को रामनवमी का Jio Hotstar पे जो कार्य क्रम हुआ था, उसमें इसे प्रस्तुत किया ।

ये मेरा सौभाग्य की, पूज्य बाबूजी की सिखायी सीख, मैं आप सब के सामने प्रस्तुत कर सका

ये छवि, सायं के मंदिर की है, जो की मेरे मित्र और संगीतकार रोहन के मंदिर की है । इस की सजावट में थोडा बहुत योगदान मेरा भी रहा है

The consciousness of time , builds in the mind along with all the other concerns and schedules, damaging the thinking process of what we work on presently ..

And with the several options open to us, it does become even greater in the context ..

So what can be the cure ..

For me I have worked out that the moment the 'other' thought invades the mind while working on something .. just get up and fulfill the wants of the invasion .. and get back to doing what you have been doing .. at least it lessens the burden we carry of the schedule and the time factor that troubles the mind .. the saturated cerebrum reduces the factor of space .. and all seems to be in order ..

Been trying it for the last few days , with reasonable success ....

Reasonable , because never is the act of work fulfilling enough to move away and give space and time for the 'other' ..

The 'other' is a magnificent factor , often not given the importance it generates in human lives or any lives ..

A view ..

.. and there are several views such as the above on the subject of 'there' .. Simone de Beauvoir and other greats like existentialists Jean Paul Sartre .. did great work on these theories .. they must be read to be able to fully understand their inputs ..

Sartre .. a playwright as well .. and one of his plays 'Crime Passionnel ' I had the privilege to go to and educate myself ..

A crime whose base is passion is not a crime in certain laws in certain countries .. that was the essence .. but would meet with immense legal debate and challenges in today's time ...

What would not perhaps meet immense debate would be the GOJ

I sit alone at my desk .. seeking the meaning of the darkness that surrounds us .. life is filled with the best and the not so best , but filled all the same ..

Yes the bereavement sits heavily .. and you find that life goes on ..

and the words of Babuji echo again and again and again , from his works and his particular poem Samvedna संवेदना ... and the truth behind that one line keeps resounding -

'दूसरों की वेदना में वेदना जो है दिखाता;

वेदना से मुक्ति का निज हर्ष केवल वो छिपाता ;

तुम दुखी हो तो सुखी मैं; विश्व का अभिशाप भारी;

क्या करूँ संवेदना लेकर तुम्हारी क्या करूँ "

the simplistic honesty of that thought fills the belief which many seem to abhor .. but that is the honesty and the brave submission of the thought ..

I listen in the silence the verses on the shlok and prayers that have been sung by me .. some that have been exposed to the world of music .. some that remain with me .. and remain so , much against the wishes of the many that it must be brought out to the World ..

And I am hesitant .. for I am not entirely sure of its shared value .. so I keep it for myself .. creativity creates the reason why the creator wishes to remain with it , despite its public spread ..

Will the 'other' fill the same vacuum , that is filled in my self ..

I think NOT ..

And hence the captive ingredient , remains with the moi ..

Bereavement be within the individual .. but what of the rest .. they are not at fault or at the same sentiment .. so be with them .. live in your own privation .. put on the smile .. as is the wont for which you work and return back to your World ..
