pansie. unless you have a kink for only ever praising your partner and begging to be allowed to get her off and then leaving silently and never contacting her again

tiphus. she's actually a pretty good girlfriend and stuff but she's just emotionally not ready for it and is fine with being alone forever

sunzuu + hradil joint placement. they're not bad but unless you want to be with both of them, you get nothing. package deal.

honorable mention for visper and cipher: they're down for whatever but only together and you can't mention how weird they are about it. you have to feed into the weird but you are not allowed to be like ohh you little freaks (pos) or they kick you out and vandalize your house

the most basic description of visper and cipher I can give is, imagine you work at a coffee shop and the two hottest people you've ever seen in your life come in, order off-menu, and then when they taste it (they WILL taste their drinks in front of you) they say the drinks are bad and instead of wanting a refund debate the merits of killing you for sport, all while never actually speaking to you directly and instead speaking to each other

VISPER and CIPHER RESVAK, blueblood twins!

visper is she/they, cipher is he/they, but they look exactly alike.

about 6'4" tall, their horns start at their temples and curl up, away from their faces, and end in three tiers of cones. they both have large, deer-like eyes, long eyelashes, sharp cheekbones, wide mouths with full lips, and roman noses. their hair is worn short, and in carefully maintained spikes all over their heads. they both have labret and dahlia piercings as well as their ears pierced three times each.

they were joined at the shoulder in the egg, the uppermost joint on their grub bodies, and since neither of them ended up lacking nutrients and they both survived, they were brought in at about 2 sweeps old to be separated (against their consent, obviously).

visper's left arm, shoulder down, is fully mechanical and connects to an implanted plug in their joint socket. it has minimal scarring and doesn't usually hurt, but needs to be cleaned religiously or they will lose function in their hand. the arm is mostly steel, but plated gold, and has small gemstones for "fingernails". cipher's right arm, the exact mirror, is the same.

their lusus is a two-headed naga, and a lot of their time as children involved keeping their lusus from fighting itself

their fashion style is what I'm calling prepmetal; that is, very clean and maintained with the vague look of "metal" as it appears in pop media; leather jackets that have no scratches, pre-ripped jeans, that kinda thing. they're part of the highblood metal subculture, which is basically rebelling against the system that keeps them in power because they know they'll face no real reprecussions.

they have no special powers or abilities, including STRENGTH, but since they spend almost every second of their lives together, they can read each others' body language to the point that it almost seems like they have some kind of telekenisis.

they have an on and off thing going with rereve and acules, but they don't really label it. otherwise, they've never met any of the other fantrolls, and keep to their own circles.

it's like, they met acules and rereve at a store in the highblood part of town and got weirdly enthralled by their equally unhealthy relationship, and just can't seem to drop them lmao

I think of all the fantrolls the one who would get along most easily if they were thrust into canon alternian life would probably be acules because he has a steady job and is a healthy amount of horny for highbloods, while still being open to talking to lowbloods and not acting weird about it.

the WORST would probably be a three way tie between clorad (for the obvious reason of he could never possibly kill HIC that's so funny), nekret (for being a mutant x2) and visper and cipher. visper and cipher would be split up eventually and they would immediately go through a series of catastrophic meltdowns without their comfort sibling there to make the world less big and loud

ever consider picking something around you and thinking of how your OCs would react to them, if they're unfamiliar with the thing?

sometimes! I like to do it with just about anything, like "well I as a person enjoy this snail decoration I got on clearance, what about them?" and then go from there

like gutfis likes snails and bugs and animals generally, so she would like it, but visper and cipher would find it really tacky, and acules has an almost comical phobia of molluscs, that kinda thing

I think the reason a lot of people make ocs that some might not enjoy is bc they don't have a loser factor. Like they don't have to be total waste cases or whatever but they have to have at least one cringey, not at all cute or charming aspect. One thing that fleshes them out past being sooooooo cool. I suggest things like fears of cleats or birds, unable to braid hair despite having a ton of it themselves, is a clown, that sort of thing.

I would 100% make some fantroll blogs but my fantrolls fuckin suck in ways that make losers weirdly mad about it. like visper and cipher are creepy twins and they're definitely not completely nonsexual siblings. clorad is an emperor who does not plan on disbanding his empire. popyko loves theft and violence as part of her magic routine. nekret uses neopronouns.
