rambles about my watcher
her name is kiri she's an island aumaua from rauatai with a builder background
i wanted to make her the epitome of Just Some Gal but she's also a cipher and a watcher which does not bode well for her wish to be Just Some Gal
the only reason why she hasn't been killed yet is because being a cipher AND and watcher allows her to read the room better because otherwise that girl has negative filters and a propensity for being horribly blunt and the worst liar (she hates lying)
during her building days she mostly used her powers as safety nets for people, making them do the right movement etc when first aid is required, or making people step back from dangerous building zones etc. she was however pants at using these powers for making a decent life for herself (both because of lack of will but just. not being a very competent cipher at first lmao)
overall a kind person (biggest stats being benevolent and honest so far) but can sometimes be a bit abrasive without even meaning it, which makes her relationship with less direct characters like aloth kind of tense
she does NOT welcome her watcher powers but she does welcome the stories she gets to hear sometimes. she was always interested in hearing tales from seafarers, pirates, merchants etc.
gets along well with most of the party even if she can be a bit tense around grieving mother and aloth at first. she takes durance's...moments with stride, she can appreciate how straightforward he is about his faith and wishes even if he's a shithead
she doesn't like any faction so far despite initial sympathy with the Dozens (in a very like, instinctual 'gotta side with the common ppl' way). i still don't know what im gonna make her pick. kinda insane that the fantasy mafia ppl seem like the least terrible
