are all of your cc models characters from your story, or just some of them?
It’s a mix, sometimes I just use my characters when I made a collection with them in mind or if they’re an expy of an IRL figure (ex. Irene is an expy of Princess Diana so she models a lot of the Diana inspired clothes)
But most of them are just sims my sister made on my computer who are in need of employment. Like, these girls are models and not story characters, and you’ll probably notice that they’re not my sim style:

Hey, I follow you on Instagram and here, and I won't lie - kinda miss your commentary of the BRF... Are you still active anywhere?
I'm active in other communities, I just don't have time for the circus anymore, I'm doing grad school :(

I know it’s your page, but there’s a way to answer people back without being curt, snarky or just plain rude. You do amazing work, but seeing how you answer people who show genuine interest in your content/posts is kinda unsettling especially when it’s so unnecessary. Being nice is cost-free.
Okay?

By the way, the plural of Queen Consort is Queens Consort, not Queen Consorts, consort is a descriptive term and cannot be a plural designation as there is only one consort at a time, but there can be more than one Queen at a time (i.e. The Queen + The Queen Dowager both being alive at a certain point in time)
So, this is just semantics, and none of it matters. But I'll bite:
First of all, no. In Sunderland, it’s queen consorts. It's canon. Just got off the phone with Louis, he said so. So, it's cool.
Also: queen consorts is legit an acceptable term and is not incorrect grammatically. There are contexts where consort can be plural. You wouldn’t go around saying “royals consort”, would you? It’s royal consorts. It’s British consorts, even if they also say “queens consort”. Queens consorts is also an expression I’ve heard before. All of these are fine.
And finally, I don’t even get your reasoning? There can’t be more than one American president at a time, there can only be one incumbent, right? But you can say "presidents" to refer to them as a collective. There can only be one Duke of York at a time but Dukes of York, with the duke being plural, is how you would address multiple men with that title regardless of whether or not they're dead. Also, queen is a descriptive word too, in some contexts, so, erm . . . I dunno, fam.

I know that you mention Sunderland’s colonial past sometimes but I’m curious what exactly did they do and did they colonize people other than indigenous Americans? What was their imperialism like and what were their colonies? Do they still have overseas colonies and what’s their relationship like with them?
Well, this question has multiple answers. Sunderland is a fictional country but it still exists in a universe that is an approximation of our own world. That world cannot exist without colonization, that is the reality of our collective human history. So, like Canada and the United States and particularly every country that has ever existed, Sunderland is a country with a colonial past.
One of my greatest frustrations with royalty simblr as a genre is that many stories take influence from the British Royal Family, and mimic their history, without taking into consideration the colonial violence that is also part of that history. There are many things the British royals do that are extensions of their colonial past, and I see people just replicate that without acknowledging the huge Imperial Elephant in the room. How many times have I seen people recreate Princess Elizabeth's 21st birthday speech without acknowledging that this speech was addressed to a diverse audience, people of many different races and backgrounds? Too many times. She gave that speech in south Africa for a reason. It wasn't just being addressed to one white, Western country, this speech was a reflection of the scale of the British Empire.
There is a big difference between portrayal and approval. No, I don’t think every royalty simblr is pro-British Empire, but the lack of interest or even research is a little annoying. But I understand: There are limitations to The Sims as a medium that make it harder to tackle these heavy topics. For some people, it’s meant to be a fun little thing that isn’t serious.
But, that’s not what I wanna do.
No, a big, big part of the main story is grappling with past ills. Currently, a lot of that centres on generational trauma, but a lot of it also has to do with the monarchy. Increasingly, we will see how the Sunderlandian monarchy exploits and oppresses people, and trying to rectify this becomes central to the main story. The unfairness certain members face is a symptom of the monarchy being inherently inequitable. So, if the monarchy treats its own members badly, how do you think it treats people outside the system?
Sunderland did not do mass imperialism on the same level as the British. There was no Sunderlandian Empire, and there is no Commonwealth of Nations. A lot of that is geographical (Sunderland isn't directly connected to the Atlantic and lacked a strong Navy, two things that helped the Brits become a massive world power), and also the fact that Sunderland is a younger monarchy. Many of their colonial advances were made through treaties and purchases. And currently, Sunderland is going through the process of reconciliation. How a monarchy deals with that has always been extremely interesting to me because it is something I am experiencing as a Canadian.
Sunderland does not "own" any colonies. They have past colonies, islands in the Lesser Antilles, which are now sovereign nations with their own governments, that have retained Louis V as their head of state. The relationship they have with Sunderland is complex. Coraline is from the largest of the islands, St. George. That's intentional. I am the daughter of immigrants from the Caribbean, so Coraline's experiences as an immigrant-turned-royal are fueled by my own insights and experiences.
I hope that answered your questions to some extent.

Why don’t the upper class wanna marry into the royal family anymore?
Okay, so let’s say there was this family that was super rich and famous and you are courting one of its members. You, as an aristocrat, already have wealth. (Unless you or your ancestors squandered it.) And you have the ability to enjoy your wealth in general privacy without the media harassing you. So you probably have more security as an aristo as well.
Also, the previous five women who have married into this family lost their husbands through death or divorce, have been publicly humiliated in an infidelity scandal, or/and have lost it due to the crushing scrutiny they were placed under.
Plus, your in-laws are fickle and notoriously hard to please.
Does that sound like a family you’d want to marry into?

Have your characters developed differently from what originally planned? Like you planned them one way and then they changed the more you wrote about them. If so, who was had the most drastic change or which one surprised you?
Yes, I don’t plan anything 100% I write quite improvisationally so, yes, some characters surprise me. I usually have a gist as to where a character might go, but sometimes things change.
Kamryn is one, her relationship with Alex was meant to be “endgame” but now, based on what has and will happened, I’m not too sure about that.
Phillip being such a major character was also not planned. Even though I’m trying to focus on his kids now, he dominates most of what I have planned, sometimes without even being present.

Would you please give some info on Sunderland’s orders of chivalry, as I’ve noticed a couple woman in your tiara posts sport some different sashes, such as black and white, yellow and red and plain red, and was hoping to know more about them?? ❤️❤️
I recently changed some of the sashes, so this should be fun:
So I think orders of chivalry are sort of lame, like to be on some Lancelot-type shit in 2025 is just . . . So I treat them more like orders of merit than chivalry. So far I only have two of them, and you'll see royals wearing them in the tiara posts and so on. Maybe I'll make some more later
Order of Brandenburg
The Order of Brandenburg is the oldest and most senior order of chivalry in the country. It was established by King Louis I in the 1790s. Appointments are made by the sovereign and sometimes the Prince of Danforth, and they're based on things like national service, service to the royal family, or merit.
Ribbon Colour: Solid Red
Current members: Louis V, Queen Irene, Princess Mary of Glencairn, Princess Jacqueline, Prince Carlence (Duke of Keele), Princess Frances of Glenciarn, Prince Phillip (Duke of Woodbine), Tatiana (Princess of Danforth), Phyllis (Duchess of Keele), and Prince Henry (Duke of Sherbourne)
Royal Order of George and Alexandra
This order was established by King George I in 1916, a few years into the start of World War One. Like the Brandenburg, it recognizes service to the royal family and monarch, but also distinguished military service. This ribbon was originally a reddish-orange colour but I recently changed it to black and white, since those were the colours of George and Alexandra's joint family order.
Ribbon Colour: white with black stripes
Current members: Queen Irene, Tatiana (Princess of Danforth) Princess Mary of Glencairn, Princess Francess of Glenciarn, Prince Carlence (Duke of Keele), Vice Admiral Sir John Belgraves (Princess Mary's husband), Princess Valeire of Glencairn, Prince Phillip (Duke of Woodbine), Phyllis (Duchess of Keele), Shelby (Duchess of Sherbourne), Prince Henry (Duke of Sherbourne).

How far in the future do you have your story planned out? Do you have a year that you reached or the next generation planned? I’m so excited that you’re back! ❤️
On a large scale, I have planned decades ahead of where I currently am in the story. Until Louis's death, and by then his great-grandchildren (Nick/Alex/their cousin's kids) will range from young adults to babies. That is to say there is a lot of them.
I do know what I have planned for Nick's kids, like who they marry or if they have kids. But I have none of the intimate details planned since I write improvisationally.

re: recent posts, how has irene’s hair changed through the years?
I fucking love it when anons know what to ask me because how did you know I had an entire timeline dedicated to Irene's hair and how it evolved over the decades.
The 1960s - Introduction to Society, Marriage
When Irene first married Louis her hair was long and she had bangs. She really liked Pattie Boyd and that's who she imitated, although with a lot less volume. It was a very "youthful" look for her. She accessorized with headbands, flowers, and pigtails. It was fitting considering she was eighteen.
The 1970s - Early Married Life
Irene ditched the bangs after she got married. In the 1970s her hair was the longest it had ever been and she was experimenting with all sorts of crazy up-dos and high-volume styles. She never liked the bouffant, though, since that was her mother-in-law's style and she was still quite young Her hair was very similar to Queen Paola of Belgium. On less formal occasions she probably just wore a ponytail.
The 1980s - Maturity and Motherhood
So, Irene cut her hair to just above shoulder length in the early 1980s. She was thirty by this point so her hair, while still trendy, was getting a bit more functional. She had a shaggy bob for the better part of this decade. No more huge up-dos or girly accessories but she didn't ditch the volume. She was inspired by the type of hair you saw on Dynasty (she fucking loved Dynasty).
The 1990s - Stability
In the early 1990s, Irene's hair got even shorter with the same amount of volume, but as the decade went on she settled into something more sleek, finally leaving behind these high-effort, voluminous looks. By the time the nineties rolled around, she's not really trying to set new trends anymore, she's being overshadowed by younger women in the family. By 1998, she's rarely trying to make a statement with her hair.
The 2000s and onwards
Once she hit her 50s Irene settled on one final hairstyle and has stuck with it for the past 28 years. She might get a haircut every so often, but she's perfectly having just one, functional hairstyle. Her current hair reminds me of Jane Pauley.
#warwick.answers#anonymous#so now if i post a picture you should be able to tell when it's from based on irene's hair

What do you have against the french? Lmao
No but for real I think you are awesome. Having strong opinions makes you unlikable now? I swear some people need to be removed from the internet
Oh, it’s just sort of a stereotype that French people are racist, so I was making a joke about it.
Yeah. I don’t know, people need to relax a little, they get so butt hurt over everything.
