thinking about grimm and religion this morning and honestly making myself a little sad.
#[ ooc || out of control ]#was chatting about it in disc wiht a friend and here's some of the copy pastes#he simultaneously needs somethign bigger than himself to believe in#and resents and loathes the idea that there is something bigger and everythign is still shit or everything is premediated. why should anyon#Its why hes so susceptible to aizens cult mentality#and when things get really bad he keeps turning back to it bc he has nothing else#theres no one else but him and whatever god hates him enough to do this to him#for a while he tries pinning his hope on other people. if he cant carry the torch himself then his fraccion can#or Aizen can#or ichigo can until he can do it himself again#he just cant be by himself. even metaphysically or whatever#needs. Something#he's just not enough for himself#if IS all by himself then the whole world(s) are on his shoulders and they will crush him flat . it is not good#the world is cruel and cold and he wants someone to have his back#literally anyone#i just think he spends a lot of time feeling small and alone and religion helps him cope#hes not like. particularly devout or anything. he's catholic leaning agnostic than anything else. maybe raised religious and jsut whatever#stuck#i do think about it a lot#[ hc || pry open the armour plating and get at the soft meat ]
