dnd hat was genuinely pretty good btw!! i think if you don’t like dnd, it’s a fun adventure movie with fun characters, and if you do like dnd, it’s still that but you can smell the dnd rolling off it a mile away. It really does feel like a party on a quest :)

#i especially liked the way relationships were handled #esp between kira/holga/edgin; holga/her husband; edgin/holga; and edgin/his wife #< those are NOT ships to be clear im just a lazy typer #anyway. holga and ger husband’s scene was really really nuce and i loved how it didn’t feel like blaim was being placed anywhere :) and it #was funny that thry both clearly had a type LMFAO #the scenes of edgin and his wife also were very sweet. i liked the acknolegment he made to sophie!kira that he wants his wife back not kira #‘s mother. and while she’s technically a fridge wife she doesn’t really feel like one? ig bc while she does effect him obviosuly; his #character development stems much more from kira and holga and vaugly the rest of the party. oh and xenk too ig #it was also a nice depiction of grief :)#anyway all this to say i enjoyed it a lit!!! i watched it with a non-dnd friend so it was fun to tell her all the bits that were dnd #soecific and also to see how she reacted/enjoye dit (she enjoted it a lot!)
