Haha yeah I figured you couldn't choose but my brain died and couldn't think of a proper space question for you today. Do you have a favourite planet in our solar system? Also that pic for red was A+, also why do you dislike epithets? Clocks is overplayed and not actually a good song so I get that. Granted I'm not a big fan of Coldplay minus The Scientist (I saw it as an AMV to Imagine Me & You so like I can't not like it you know?) so yeah.
Oh, no, I liked the question! It gave me an excuse to look through all my space posts.
As for the other things:
I don’t have a favorite planet. I’m sorry I’m so boring with my answers! If I say Saturn, I feel like that’ll be such an obvious choice with its flashy rings. BUT I used to watch Star Trek: Voyager with my mom when it originally aired. And in the opening credits, there’s a part where the camera pans through Saturn’s rings and it’s made up of millions of tiny glittering fragments and there’s a soft rattling sound effect, like a hundred stones tumbling over themselves, and that’s always been my favorite part. So Saturn makes me very nostalgic.
Epithets. I should clarify! I hate epithets in writing. Like when I’m reading fanfiction? The last thing I want to read is “the blonde” or “the redheaded woman” if the character’s name is well established. The only acceptable use of epithets is when a character whose perspective you are following (first person, third person subjective) does not know the name of the person in question. If it is a small, brunette woman they’ve never seen before, then epithet away. If not, do not. I will fight you.
I really can’t stand Coldplay in general, but that’s really just a difference of musical opinion, not a pet peeve. Except Clocks.
