Not to post bout profit on the class consciousness webbed site but wow I’m getting a taste of that sweet sweet attending salary uhh and to be honest…….. making way more money for less work fucks so so hard

#wdym I just doubled by monthly income from working 3 nights….#I’m moonlighting as an attending for a private practice and what the FUCK #free food nice parking everyone is super nice to me #like…. is this how real doctors live and where do I sign up #academia is so fucking stupid oh my god #‘oh I work double the hours and make half the salary but at least I get to maybe teach and publish a paper or two?’ fuck off #also like.. part of it is I’ve been a trainee for the past 5 years but I didn’t really notice how mean nurses are to trainees lol #also getting any consultant to see a patient in academia is like pulling teeth #in private practice they are so polite #and actually see patients on weekends?????#what being paid and not being overworked does to a mf
