#one thing u gotta know about me is#the stories I consume have literally branded themselves into my soul so like#if I ask you to watch a movie I really am passionate about and u just dunk on it#and insist you won’t like it#it will make me deeply upset#bc I am extending to you something I see as a reflection of what’s in me#and Im saying ‘hey this piece of media altered my life and I think you could understand me a lil more if you understand this work’#and for someone to be like ‘no the animation looks bad’ makes me really upset#and ik im being silly#ik it’s not that important#but it IS to me#and I am so tired of compromising for someone else’s benefit and just doing whatever they want#and I have specifically ask him to pretend to care#I have asked him to watxh what I wanna watch with me#we’re roommates btw so like he has ample time#but no it has to be what he wants to spend him time on#so#I’m upset if u can’t tell#and when I try to have time alone he walks into my room and is like ‘bestie! come hang!’#but only if it’s what he wants to do
