7 Ways to Create a Great Customer Experience Strategy
Tumblr media
The customer experience (CX) is defined by interactions between a customer and an organization throughout their business relationship. Interaction can include awareness, discovery, cultivation, advocacy, purchases, and service.
Customer experience is an integral part of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the reason why it’s important is that a customer who has a positive experience with a business is more likely to become a repeat and loyal customer.
In fact, a study by Oracle found that 74% of senior executives believe that customer experience impacts the willingness of a customer to be a loyal advocate. And the customer experience statistics don’t stop there. If you want your customers to stay loyal, you have to invest in their experience!
1. Create a clear customer experience vision:-
The first step in your customer experience strategy is to have a clear customer-focused vision that you can communicate with your organization. The easiest way to define this vision is to create a set of statements that act as guiding principles.
For example, Zappos use their Zappos core family values and these values are embedded into their culture; which includes delivering wow through service, be humble and embracing change.
Once these principles are in place, they will drive the behavior of your organization. Every member of your team should know these principles by heart and they should be embedded in all areas of training and development.
2. Understand who your customers are:-
The next step in building upon these customer experience principles is to bring to life the different type of customers who deal with your customer support teams. If your organization is going to really understand customer needs and wants, then they need to be able to connect and empathize with the situations that your customers face.
One way to do this is to create customer personas and give each persona a name and personality. For example, Anne is 35 years old; she likes new technology and is tech-savvy enough to follow a video tutorial on her own, whereas John (42 years old) needs to be able to follow clear instructions on a web page.
By creating personas, your customer support team can recognize who they are and understand them better. It’s also an important step in becoming truly customer-centric.
3. Create an emotional connection with your customers:-
You’ve heard the phrase “it’s not what you say; it’s how you say it”?
Well, the best customer experiences are achieved when a member of your team creates an emotional connection with a customer.
One of the best examples of creating an emotional connection comes from Zappos when a customer was late on returning a pair of shoes due to her mother passing away. When Zappos found out what happened, they took care of the return shipping and had a courier pick up the shoes without cost. But, Zappos didn’t stop there. The next day, the customer arrived home to a bouquet of flowers with a note from the Zappos customer service team who sent their condolences.
Research by the Journal of Consumer Research has found that more than 50% of an experience is based on an emotion as emotions shape the attitudes that drive decisions.
Customers become loyal because they are emotionally attached and they remember how they feel when they use a product or service. A business that optimizes for an emotional connection outperforms competitors by 85% in sales growth.
And, according to a recent Harvard Business Review study titled “The New Science of Customer Emotions“, emotionally engaged customers are:
At least three times more likely to recommend your product or service
Three times more likely to re-purchase
Less likely to shop around (44% said they rarely or never shop around)
Much less price sensitive (33% said they would need a discount of over 20% before they would defect).
4. Capture customer feedback in real-time:-
How can you tell if you are delivering a wow customer experience?
You need to ask – And ideally you do this by capturing feedback in real-time.
Send a follow-up email to every customer using post-interaction surveys and similar customer experience tools to automate the process.
Of course, it’s possible to make outbound calls to customers in order to gain more insightful feedback.
It’s also important to tie customer feedback to a specific customer support agent, which shows every team member the difference they are making to the business.
5. Use a quality framework for the development of your team:-
By following the steps above, you now know what customers think about the quality of your service compared to the customer experience principles you have defined. The next step is to identify the training needs of each individual member of your customer support team.
Many organizations assess the quality of phone and email communication, however, a quality framework takes this assessment one step further by scheduling and tracking your team's development through coaching, eLearning and group training.
6. Act upon regular employee feedback:-
Most organizations have an annual survey process where they capture the overall feedback of your team; how engaged they are and the businesses ability to deliver an exceptional service.
But, what happens in the 11 months between these survey periods?
Usually, nothing happens. And this is where continuous employee feedback can play a role using tools that allow staff to share ideas on how to improve the customer experience and for managers to see how the staff is feeling towards the business.
For example, using project management software or social media tools, you can create a closed environment where your organization can leave continuous feedback.
7. Measure the ROI from delivering a great customer experience:-
And finally, how do you know if all this investment in your teams, process and technology are working and paying off? The answer is in the business results.  Measuring customer experience is one of the biggest challenges faced by organizations, which is why many companies use the “Net Promoter Score” or NPS, which collects valuable information by asking a single straightforward question. Web Development Company in Frisco develop high-performing, conversion-driven websites that are bound to transform your business.

When I send out an iBook with actual flippable OLED screens I'm not asking Apple to make them. Apple is one of the laziest corporations on the planet with people splitting jobs of others so that when you go ask for a new iphone bc when something breaks and is under warranty, they refer you to a chain of people to be checking the issues then finally give you a new one, instead of a vending machine with a scanner that could do the jobs of all the employees of an entire apple store or an app that at the end of a diagnostic sends you a recovery drone and gives you a new one at the same time... It would not only cut losses of paying retail employees hourly without selling devices but if they ever felt they needed to bring back jobs here instead of offshoring, that would be their solution but because apple is a lying piece of shit company that never checks their blindspots- they would rather offshore and then hide all the evidence of the things that happen in those places. I don't really care that their phones are crappy, or that they treat the customers like trash after they buy the iPhones. Apple would always be the same bc of the first CEO and everything that he selected is the outcome of his decisions. You don't see them changing their bootloader to be as fast like chromeOS's anytime soon or even faster like WaveOS, one that isn't even in existence. Relying on creators to develop web apps instead of giving in to platfrom specific bullshit languages that cost yearly subscriptions and get lost through time of apple's architecture divorces causing us the ones who adopt their technology and they don't even care, the iconagraphy on their macOS Big Sur update is more like a big nope, and how they allow the words "crack marketing team" and craig looks like he huffs more than he works, implies that they are infact asking for crack to be used for marketing bc they ran out of ideas so long ago and even Joe Rogan says they have to use drugs to come up with them. In fact if I were being honest, my Ph Level is close to acidic and I don't have a phD in anything. Marketing and product developmemnt is a job for druggies bc they help people process their emotions, that when someone on the other side doesn't push the right buttons to help them, it's not their fault but I would not be okay with being called something unless it was accurate. An iBook with OLED screens would not even be made by Apple. It would be made by Samsung or Sony, the true leaders of the tech industry and it would be called the Galaxy Book or the Xperia Book. Let's be honest. A spotlight does not belong in one place all the time.

Why Your Website Needs On-Page SEO And How To Get It Done
On-page SEO is an important factor in determining your website’s rankings.
And while you’ll want to keep readability and relevancy in mind, too  – so people will actually READ your blog – your SEO efforts can really pay off.
Learn why on-page SEO is important and what the most important factors are when SEO-ing your pages.
What Is On-Page Seo?
On-page SEO is the act of optimizing your web pages so that search engines can find and register them correctly.
This is done by making sure that the content within the website is written specifically to include certain keywords that are pertinent to your business and its audiences.
Why Is On-page SEO( Search Engine Optimization) Important?
On-page SEO tells Google – or other prominent search engines – who you are and that you should be at the top of the search results when your keywords are entered in.
Without on-page SEO, your website could be left in the dust.
And why chance it? Especially since you’ve invested thousands of dollars to get it up and running.
Feeding the Google Crawler as much information as possible about the website is crucial.
However, some people focus too much on their SEO efforts and don’t keep their content in balance and ensure it’s also enjoyable for their users.
While content needs to be optimized for search engines, it must also be readable and valuable for the viewer.
The Most Important Aspects Of On-page SEO
Here’s the info you need to make sure your on-page SEO will get the results you want:
1. Keyword Choice And Placement
The keyword or keyword phrase that is chosen for each page is the most important aspect of SEO optimization.
In line with the subject of the page.
Easily searchable.
Easy to use and works within the text.
Some proper placements of the chosen keyword will be detailed below.
However, it’s best to start with correct placement directly in the content.
This means that some header text should be wrapped with <h1> or <h2> tags and include the keyword.
Also, make sure to add your keyword or keyword phrase throughout the copy, and most importantly, at the very beginning of the copy (within the first paragraph).
But, don’t go too far and keyword-stuff.
Google and your viewers will be able to tell immediately  – and your website may be penalized.
2. Unique And Useful Content.
Bottom line when it comes to content: Write amazing copy.
This means that the content is of a decent length and isn’t copied from any other sites.
This is extremely important!
We recommend a minimum of 500-600 words, but longer articles (2,000 words or more) tend to rank better.
If the content is too short, plagiarized, or not useful, readers will know it and Google will penalize you!
3. URL
Make sure that your URL includes your keyword or phrase for the page.
Put it at the beginning of the URL string – the best placement for Google’s algorithm, which places more value on words.
Also, try not to make your URL too long.
While there is no set limit on length, use your best judgement. If it looks too long or wordy, it probably is.
Avoid using any stop words like “and,” “the,” or “it.” You don’t need to use these words in the URL because Google typically ignores them.
4. Title Tag
Google will look at the title tag of a page to determine its relevancy to a subject.
The title tag is a bit of meta data embedded into the HTML of each page that tells Google what to display in search results.
This is the link that people will click on after they perform a search on Google.
When you include the keyword in the title meta tag, Google knows how to classify the page topic and where to include it on the search engine.
This is one of the most important signals that you can send to a search engine.
5. Meta Description
Google also checks the page meta description.
The meta description should include the page’s keyword or keyword phrase. This description is what will show up as the small paragraph under the title when search results are returned to the viewer.
This is the first piece of information that the viewer sees before clicking on the page, so make it count!
6. Image Alt Text
Adding your keyword or keyword phrase to the alt tag on images sends Google a relevancy signal for your pictures.
If you’re unsure what an alt tag is, it’s the HTML code that tells the viewer – in text – what the picture is about.
This text can be seen when hovering over the picture with a cursor. A well constructed alt text contributes to the page’s relevancy rating.
It also helps to bring the photo and link up on image searches.
7. References, Internal and External Links
Include a few “internal” links on the page to other pages on your own website.
This strategy keeps the viewer on your pages longer and provides them with more useful information.
Google tracks how long viewers stay on your page and will consider your website more relevant the longer that they stay
