Sonoma Wine Country
So, after a wedding, one that occurred in a stunning venue, we had a full Sunday to do anything we wanted. My sisters, along with their husbands, accompanied me to Healdsburg, California. There, in a town full of Sonoma Country wineries, we enjoyed Mothers Day. What struck me about this area, and I guess I assumed a lot, but I was shocked by how approachable the people in town were. I guess they…

After you tour Geyserville CA wineries, you usually end up at the wine tasting room. Then again, the wine sampling room might be the spot you invest all your energy during your visit on the off chance that you lean toward not to visit the winery or if a visit isn't accessible.
Tasting Rooms Healdsburg is the gateway to your winery's brand and the #1 place to convert customers to wine club individuals. Giving a superlative accommodation experience is foremost. One key bit of innovation that can improve the tasting room is a versatile retail location framework. As a report by Boston Retail accomplices uncovered, 300% more retailers intend to convey a portable POS framework in the following two years. Truth be told, the development of internet shopping really expands the requirement for this innovation.
Tasting Rooms Healdsburg, which can be very simple or very elaborate, is the winery’s reception area for guests. You'll see a bar where tests of the winery's wines are accessible for tasting. The individuals behind the bar who pour the examples are generally learned about their wines. These individuals may likewise be educated about wine when all is said in done, contingent upon the person. Tastes of non-mixed drinks, for example, grape juice, are typically likewise accessible for youngsters or nondrinkers.
Tumblr media
Keep the following information in mind, if you plan to visit Geyserville CA wineries:
Tasting fees: Many years ago, you could taste wines in tasting spaces for no charge, yet today the standard is to charge guests a little charge for each taste, shifting from two or three dollars up to $10 for exceptionally unique costly wines. Sometimes Geyserville CA wineries charge you for the glass that you use instead of charging for the wine and you find a good pace glass. In some cases, you can apply the whole tasting charge toward the expense of a jug that you buy.
Picking wines to taste: Depending on what number of wines a winery has, certain wines may be accessible on specific days, or all the wines may be accessible for tasting constantly. Here and there as opposed to tasting the wines individually, you can taste a trip of wines, a gathering of a few wines (for the most part three or four) that you test one next to the other to comprehend the distinctions among them.

They will likely serve you something that you'll like so you'll choose to buy that wine. Beset up to talk about your preferences in wine so they can assist you with finding a wine that energizes you.
Special offers: Many Geyserville CA wineries have certain wines that they sell only in their tasting room, not in wine shops or cafés. These wines are typically little creation things, for example, wines from strange grape assortments or trail mixes. It's a smart thought to ask whether any such wines are accessible, on the grounds that this is your lone opportunity to taste them — and you sound like an insider for inquiring.

These things can be incredible tokens of your visit, also astute endowments.

JULY 26th-27th: Wedding Stuff
Stef and Nick know how to throw a party.
Tumblr media
Didn’t get any pics of the food but just imagine huge pots of shrimp, corn, potatoes, mushrooms, and garlic tossed in front of you on large picnic tables. No silverware No plates. It was spicy. It was tender. It was creole. Also, only the best beer was served. Flavorful local varieties.
Even though I was severely de-hydrated (by my own doing. Alcohol.) I woke up at 7 and headed to breakfast with all the wedding gals. My avocado, bacon, spinach eggs Benedict partly cured my hangover.
Tumblr media
After breakfast Mrs. Stasurak and I headed over to the cutest farmers market where we purchased blackberries and oooh and awed over the freshly picked flowers.
Tumblr media
Healdsburg has an antique store on every corner. It’s a wonder how any of them make any money. Each shop never ends and the junk is piled high.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The wedding venue was created all by the Madurus Family. Everything was incredible down to the potato salad (not pictured because I gorged myself)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunday we helped stack chairs and tear down the wedding. Because of this Nick brought out a special bottle...
Tumblr media
We leave tomorrow for our 3 week road trip!
Love,
Karsen, who needs that bottle of wine all the time and cries at weddings.

20 Backyard Lighting Ideas You Can Do For Your Homes
Tumblr media
Wouldn’t it be great if you have an open space at home?
For people who are living in the city, maybe in a condo or an apartment building, having a backyard is not nearly as possible to have – so, whether it is not considered as a backyard, decks and patios could sometimes be the next best thing because of it being an open space.
Think about this for a moment.
You and your significant other in the backyard eating dinner under the sky or you and your family members coming together to have a decent meal after being away from each other for a very long time. Having a wonderful lighting design in your backyard could really make a great difference in the aura and feel of your backyard. Below is a list of backyard lighting ideas that you could use for your own homes and I think that you’d really love the choices that we have picked out for you to check out!
1. Irvine Cove
Tumblr media
Photo: http://www.geoffsumichdesign.com/irvine-cove
Aside from the awesome color palette that this space has, the sconces on the side of the house above the sofas and the lighting above the dining table sure looks perfect and calming – ambient lighting sure does not make your eye twitch every time you look straight to it.
2. Monte Parnaso
Photo: https://www.vgzarquitectura.com/copy-of-7-plaza
I totally love these chairs – there was a time when we featured this design in one of our lists about awesome outdoor chairs. The colors are simple, yes, but then it blends well with the wall covered in grass. The lights in here are common, but then it looks magical.
3. Northbridge
Photo: http://artingreen.com.au/galleries/northbridge
This outdoor space does not have enough seating but the lighting in the entire space is just wonderful to look at. The floor work done in here is aesthetically pleasing and I’m pretty sure that people would love to hang out in here.
4. Tropical Belgium
Photo: http://www.escaledesign.fr
The bean bags used in here looks really comfortable and fun to just hang out in. Being in the outdoors but at home at the same time is just so comfortable, I don’t think you’d ever want to leave this place.
5. Spitalfields
Photo: http://www.londongardendesigner.com/city-roof-garden
Now this is one dramatic venue for a candlelight dinner or an outdoor date with your significant other. The wooden furniture and set up is just romantic and somehow something you wouldn’t expect in a house of some sort – this sure belongs to a restaurant or a hotel.
6. The Colony House
Photo: https://www.coffmanstudio.com/colony-house
The fire pit in the middle of the platform sure is a pleasure to look at. It is just across a lovely wall feature which is a metallic piece of decor that accentuates the place. Enough seating is added for small groups for drinks or game nights.
7. Boise Residence
Photo: http://hm.la/project/moore-2
This beautiful backyard is adorned with light bulbs that add a little drama around the lawn. The industrial lamp above the dining table allows the people eating to have enough lighting to be able to see what they are actually eating!
8. Hollywood Hills
Photo: garden-of-eva.com
Backyard lighting could really be tricky, but once it is done right, you’ll have one space like this one which is neat and great to look at and very functional.
9. Huf House Garden
Photo: https://www.eyre-design.co.uk/garden-design/dulwich/#huf-house
A wonderful backyard with an elevated platform where seating was added to be able to accommodate people during family events or gatherings! The lighting in this area is quite wonderful – simple and very functional.
10. South Pasadena
Photo: http://www.junescottdesign.com/portfolio_page/south-pasadena-03-2
We see lamps scattered in the area and a few light bulbs up in the tree – enough to light the dining area outside the house. The large flower pots and lamp combination is actually a nice touch.
11. Castro Street Residence
Photo: nnarchitecture.com
A functioning outdoor fireplace is just what you need in those cold nights that you just want to spend outdoors. A seating as comfortable as this sure needs a canopy of some sort to protect them but outdoor furniture is created to be weather-resistant as well.
12. Slaughter Residence
Photo: http://naturedesigns.net/portfolio/lighting
This place sure looks great for parties and outdoor activities – the lighting is quite romantic and pretty neat for romantic events like weddings or birthdays. The lighting is simple but really fancy!
13. Healdsburg Residence
Photo: nnarchitecture.com
Using light bulbs for the outdoors is kind of neat – simple but really efficient. It’s functional and gets the work done – lighting the place at and beautifying it at the same time.
14. St. Helena
Photo: http://envisionlandscapestudio.com/portfolio/#416
Oh! The fire pit is just adorable! Its warm color just makes this backyard more romantic and pleasing to the eyes. Warm lighting is ideal for accentuating the plants and the place because it sort of sets up a tone of calm and rest than if white light is actually used.
15. Taconic Retreat
Photo: http://www.wagnerhodgson.com/projects/residential/taconic-retreat
From this angle, you can tell that there is at least one or more hole in this backyard that is lighted like these two circular holes/planters. It’s a nice way of showcasing your plants and at the same time making your backyard actually stand out!
16. Tesvikiye House
Photo: https://www.boymanarslan.com
I don’t think white furniture is best for the outdoors, but if the material is somehow weather resistant or something – it could possibly work. The pit in the middle serves as the lighting that this space needs during the night aside from the lighting by the plants.
17. Las Alturas
Photo: nsds.squarespace.com
This is one beautiful outdoor space! A small fire pit by the wall and light bulbs attached to the tree and connected to the side of the house is both functional and pretty.
18. Townsend
Photo: http://www.yardscapesnorthwest.com/ourwork
Trellises are magical – adding the right amount of lighting and furniture will surely add more beauty to it and the entire space. Trellises and pergolas are some of the additions I love seeing in houses. Don’t you agree?
19. Sockol Residence
Photo: http://www.lsls.co/portfolio
Totally romantic, totally awestruck! This outdoor space is beyond words – the lighting is nicely done and the platform created for this area is just fantastic. I totally love it!
20. Timbertech New York
Photo: https://www.stellardecks.com/timbertech
Basically a patio, this area has an awesome setup – from the furniture arrangement to the lighting added to the posts and even on the steps and the flooring is just wonderfully done. This is pleasing to the eyes and it sure does well too for the pictures which would be taken while you are in here.

1. Irvine Cove

Aside from the awesome color palette that this space has, the sconces on the side of the house above the sofas and the lighting above the dining table sure looks perfect and calming – ambient lighting sure does not make your eye twitch every time you look straight to it.
2. Monte Parnaso

Basically a patio, this area has an awesome setup – from the furniture arrangement to the lighting added to the posts and even on the steps and the flooring is just wonderfully done. This is pleasing to the eyes and it sure does well too for the pictures which would be taken while you are in here.
