Part two of my portrait journey. . I keep falling between wanting to be authentic and open with my posts, and wanting to seem/show professional qualities. Instead, I think I’ll just show how my development has grown within the last year of photography. . This first picture was also taken in December 2019, before I knew how to direct models or focus effectively. I’m still not happy with how long it takes for me to improve my skills, but I’m glad it’s happening. I’m discovering that achieving something doesn’t magically make me happy, and neither does getting something I’ve wanted.
