As a previously high masking high achiever who recently discovered that they now have a chronic illness and can't function anymore, Mithrun is just such a m o o d .(Also, the parts where Kabru takes care of him in the dungeon make me go so f e r a l. I am so down bad for the chronic overthinker.)

It's amazing how the author managed to create a character that has so many people struggling with mental health/ physical health and whatever else resonating so much.

BUT YEAH he can apply to so many different and realistic situations that real life people go through. I comprehend his backstory and current lack of desires through my own depression, like it’s crazy how realistically his character is written despite the fantasy elements. And his ingrained ableism towards himself, it’s something that many struggle with and I don’t see a lot of representation for that kinda thing often tbh

And!!! His ending! It makes me so emotional honestly like my heart goes bbbbbrrrrrrrr
