im sure it can be interpreted as obnoxious that i just keep making more posts about this but its actually so crazy to think that im generally pleased with how my life is going. im not adjusted to it so i panic whenever something slightly hangs or stalls (like i had to stay in this weekend while my friends had a get together because of a flash cold) but really for the first time im like at the front of the line with eyes wide open.

#honestly ive been so much more well adjusted ever since i started working front end jobs #first at a movie theater and currently as a grocery store cashier #when i worked stocking shelves at walmart before that was a real nadir of my life #i need a fast paced environment with a high amount of human interaction #because my biggest issue is getting into social situations #when im in a situation already then i hold my own and i do just fine. proficiently even #but i am just so clueless when it comes to starting to talk to someone #nowadays im making small talk with friendly customers and coworkers #its because there are set topics #this old italian couple came in and spent over 600 dollars on meats and cheeses and paper plates and everything. one day before thanksgivin #so i could be like 'got a big monday planned?' and they are the exact demographic that loves talking to cashiers so i get a proper little #chat out of it #they got family coming in from out of town and this is their first time hosting thanksgiving in years #and thats the kind of little glimpse into peoples lives that i so love
