#Pontin's#Pontins#holidays#holiday parks#British life#British stuff#some guy on FB has posted a video of his driving to the Prestatyn site at night and the signage has all been taken down 😭#yes it was a dump but it was my - and my siblings' - beloved childhood shitpit dump#middle sister and I used to have dreams about going there#i spent most of my primary school days daydreaming about Pontin's#when the teachers read us stories i often mentally set them in Pontin's#and i'm actually the reason why we started going!#my mum had a health visitor and at the time she and Dad were raising my older brother me and my middle sister#middle sister was 2 i was 4 and older (half) brother was 10#and Mum was not coping because she had a bad back and sciatica and having to look after an autistic 4-year-old (me)#so this health visitor sorted out a holiday there for us 😁
