How to use WheresMySuitcase Service?
A well planned vacation or a trip home can very well be ruined in a matter of moments if your luggage gets delayed. It is indeed irritating when one doesn’t get their luggage on time of arrival so imagine how awesome it would be if all passengers can easily keep a track of their luggage online by monitoring its logistics. This is the service that WheresMySuitcase has to offer at http://www.wheres…

Geneva International Motor Show - Geneva
I was in Geneva for one reason and one reason only - the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show. Get this, I was only there for one and a half day, but I still got to get a feel for the city and temporarily left a suitcase in an old church tower.
Going to Geneva shouldn’t have been on my itinerary. My route of Prague - Geneva - Budapest made no sense to anyone.. except me.
The motor show was only on for a limited time and this spring break trip was the only chance I had at catching a glimpse of it. And my god it was one hell of an experience.
I arrived in Geneva on a Tuesday and left Wednesday around noon. There wasn’t a lot of time, but I was able to pack a fair bit of stuff into my stay. It started with the motor show.
It was a ginormous show! It put the Vancouver Auto Show to shame to be honest - and of course Vancouver’s not a well known place for motor shows, but that’s the only one I’ve been to so there you have it. It was like comparing Yao Ming to.. well, me. In every aspect the show screamed expensive production and marketing was everywhere.
There were a ton of brands there that brought their “A” game. However, the main attractions were probably the Koenigsegg Regera and the new facelifted Audi R8.
Koenigsegg Regera:
Audi R8:
They were beautiful cars in the articles I’ve read, but even more beautiful in flesh. The Geneva International Motor Show is essentially THE motor show in Europe, so for me to get a chance to go there was a great privilege as you know it’s not cheap in Switzerland.
Amongst the two main attractions, there were some other beauties that I personally liked:
The BMW i8:
The Bugatti Veyron Finale (last of their 450 so that they can begin on its successor)
The Pagani Huayra
And the new Mazda MX-5!
The show was so big, you could easily spend half a day there if you really wanted to check out each brand and what they had to offer.
Great experience indeed.
I had initially planned on sleeping at the airport that night because the motor show was at the convention center at the airport, but ended up couch surfing because a friend of mine got some last minute messages from a host.
The host was very kind. He gave us advice on where we should go to see certain things and even drove us around a bit.
Finally, he offered us cake that his mom made because he felt bad he didn’t have anything else to offer us.. (crazy awesome!)
After a good night’s rest, the next day was short and sweet for me..
I was able to fit one attraction in my day before I flew from Geneva to Budapest. I ended up going to the St Pierre Cathedral, which allowed people to climb its towers so that they can get a 360 degree view of the city.
And so I did.. along with my suitcase that is.
The towers went up in a spiral and were very narrow.. it also felt like you were going in circles and circles because you had no idea how far up you were.
Finally I reach the top as I lifted my suitcase to the last step. I didn’t want to carry it around with me as I took photos, so I left it at a corner of where the main tower space was.
I soaked in the view and took some photos of the tranquil city.
When I proceeded to go back to my luggage, I ended up through a doorway and it led me down.. It thought it was alright at first, but I kept walking and walking and walking... Next thing you know, I was back downstairs!
I had totally left my suitcase at the top of the tower.. I felt embarrassed, but I had told the security guard to let me back up because I had to retrieve my suitcase. He smirked a bit and kindly let me back up. Another trek up.. and I finally get my suitcase.
I kind had to take a pic of this for memory sake:
My suitcase has been on quite an adventure..
And so I rushed to the airport and went on to begin my next journey... Budapest.

Screw it. If I'm going to pack, it's not going to be in my thirty-one bag.
