wanted to share my oc, chika! 🖤

some info of her:

half japanese (dad) and filipino (mom)

mostly goes with "brie" and only few people calls her by her given name, "chika" (her names comes from the nanori reading of the kanji, 'love').

parents were martial artists practitioners, her mom practiced taekwondo and her dad judo, but they died when she was young. she got adopted by her uncle (mom's bro) who also owns a mma gym in new york. there she continues her practice (started being a practitioner the moment she knew how to walk).

her choice of weapons are dual escrima sticks.

she doesn't go to school rather she helps her uncle train their members.

also doesn't have any friends her age because all of the members are adults.

how she met teetlez:

actually first met april when she saw her being ganged up by some bullies in their elementary days (well, for april). helped her beat them together and they've been friends since. call's april, senpai

first met leo before the others because of how he opened a portal right by her when she was cornered by some thugs. (will get onto that some time lol). calls him, leon.

both goes to april that they met someone weird and wild, so brie ended up meeting the fam.

she has her own nicknames for the too, donnie = don don, mikey = angel, raph = fael, splinter = sōshō (宗匠)

is a fan of lou jitsu because her uncle is, so she was so stoked to know that lou jitsu was alive. (finally can get an autograph for her and her uncle xD)

also, leo has a slight crush on her because she's the only who reacts positively by his one-liners sksksk

Draco, Are You Watching? (A Ficlet)

“Draco, are you watching?” she says as she showed him the steps for the opening dance for Eighth Year Yule Ball. 

 “I am,” he says, taking her hand and easily dancing with her, memorizing the moves right away.

“Draco, are you watching?” Hermione asks as she showed him how to use a Muggle computer. 

“I am,” he responds, clicking the “W” icon and then typing her name on the document.

“Draco, are you watching?” She asks as they watched a video of his proposal and then their wedding. 

“I am,” He responds, but his loving eyes are watching her instead of the telly.

“Draco, are you watching?” she asks and then gasps as a movement on her tummy appeared. She smiles and presses his hand over. 

“I am,” he responds, feeling his son kick. He smiles and plants a kiss on Hermione’s stomach.

“Draco, are you watching?” she asks, glancing at him when he stopped talking.  

“I am,” he responds. He was watching their son take his first steps by himself. Draco beams with pride.

“Draco, are you watching?” she asks, a horrified expression on her face as the 6 year old Scorpius zooms past Hermione, riding a broom skillfully at his young age. 

“I am,” he responds with a smile, his arms crossed as he sat on a stone. But she doesn’t hear him.

Hermione turns and walks towards him, eyes staring at the marble stone he was sitting at. An epitaph. With his name. 

“I am,” she copies his words. Because she knew he is watching. 

All the time. 

 And he was.

I knew it was over.

I knew it was over when his touch started to feel foreign.

I knew it was over when his embrace became forced.

I knew it was over when his kisses turned cold.

Still, I hoped it would be back to what it was used to, but it never happened.

What we had was familiarity, comfort, friendship, and a budding romance—on my end, at least, I know that now.

So what can I do when he fell in love with someone else?

It’s not as if he dictated his heart to love someone aside from me.

He tried. He tried hard for me.

I knew he did.

Merlin, he married me.

It was alright for a year. Our honeymoon was spent in France. We traveled a lot, we were at our freest when we did.

So I don’t know when it happened.

Maybe it started when our parents kept hinting at wanting grandchildren.

Maybe it started when I started a career of my own.

Or maybe he just really didn’t see me that way.

He only needed me, not love me.

Not in the romantic sense, anyway.

It hurt, knowing he was physically with me, but his heart was with 𝙝𝙚𝙧.

That whenever he held me, he was thinking of 𝙝𝙚𝙧.

I wasn’t blind, but I refused to see the truth.

I love him too much to let him go.

We are bound.

We are married.

“Draco, are you listening?” Her soft voice takes him out of his reverie.

“I am,” He looks at Hermione, unable to comprehend why Potter and the Weasley family would even welcome him in their home for Christmas. “I’ll go”

As long as she’s there, he’ll go. Anywhere with her.

“Draco, are you listening?” Hermione asks, stopping in her tracks as they pass by Diagon Alley.

“I am.” She doesn’t know it, but he already bought her a copy of the book she wanted before it’s even released.

“Draco, are you listening?” She asked as she turned around slowly, The dress she was wearing was simple, but she looked like a goddess.

“I am,” he responded. “Yes, you look beautiful.” He reaffirms, wishing she was going out with him instead.

“Draco, are you listening?” She asked, cupping his face, eyes brimming with tears as she stared into his soul.

“I am,” he nodded. He was listening but at the same time he wasn’t. Did she really just say that?

“I couldn’t take it further because it felt wrong,” she sobbed.

“It felt wrong because I kept thinking why I wasn’t doing these things with you. Why are we apart? Why are we not together?” she was a mess, but she never looked more beautiful in his eyes.

“Draco, are you listening?” she continued. “I said I love you–”

He cuts her off with a kiss. Soft.

Deep.

True.

“I am,” he mumbles. “And I love you. Always have. All this time.”

They laughed with tears in their eyes, and at the same time, they said, “We’re idiots.”

“Draco, are you listening?” she whispers, glancing around the church as they both stood in front of the altar. She’d just finished stating her vows.

“I am.” he whispers back then nods, says aloud, “I do.”

He then kisses her, in front of everyone, and all the gods there is.

“Draco, are you listening?” Her eyes are confused. “I said I’m pregnant.”

“I am,” he was staring at her tummy. They’re having a child. He thanks his lucky stars. “I love you both.” He kisses her stomach and then her lips.

“Draco, are you listening?” she asks through the muggle phone. “You’re spacing out again. I love you. I love you. I love you.”

“I am,” he smiled and looked at the phone. He presses play once more.

It’s the only way to hear her voice again.

You know how it ends.
