sci fi can hold so many tropes in it
#watching stargate sg1 and surprise de-aging ep#and recently saw a good old 'which reality is the dream' episode#which has me thinking about the 300 other tropes in this show like. timed loop. body'd swap. etc#i love a sci fi#sg1#edit: ough i'm so mad at myself i literally made this post then thought 'oh unless it's not a deaging thing and it's a clone thing'#but i didn't say it....#anyway i was right it was a clone thing#back to my original point - sci fi got so many tropes in it. bonus point that this makes it easy to guess plot twists#which adds an extra layer of fun bc it is Very Fun to be correct
