An eternal struggle in TCP is that I have two (2) flashback chapters that are my actual genuine darlings and that I do think provide some useful character development and backstory but I have no goddamn clue where to put them

#to make it worse!#one is written in Jisel’s pov and one in Sirion’s #and I guess I could rewrite Sirion’s in Callebero’s but Sirion’s pov at this point in time has so much warmth that I don’t want to lose it #orz #I should probably just rewrite it in Callebero’s pov #that way I’m not just throwing in a third narrator for one chapter and never again #I guess I could use Jisel’s as the prologue and Sirion’s as the break between book 1 & 2 #I feel like Jisel’s is better as a sort of hindsight tho #but I suppose it would offer that hindsight aspect on reread #hoping that ppl yknow. want to reread this 😅#anyway the reason I want to include them is that they’re glimpses of the two most pivotal moments in the trio’s story #and the only chance to see the trio before they are who they are at the start of tcp #which is not particularly who they were before the inciting incident of tcp #tcp editing adventures
