#working class hero who dreams of an ideal world of equality#overly-confident but with an awful self-esteem. feels ashamed of his low station and thinks himself as dirty#irredeemable murderer whi killed thousands of innocents#(i can't say more without going into spoiler territory BUT THE LIST GOES ON)#<- these are all things that wwx is NOT#but sometimes i see him portrayed as#but gu mang IS all of this which makes reading yuwu rly funny sometimes#bc gu mang feels familiar. not because he is a lot like canon wwx. but bc he's a lot like fanon wwx#i do like gu mang a lot tho bc the way he's written works very well for the yuwu story#it just doesn't work for the mdzs story#which is why fanon wwx feels so divorced from his canon counterpart#modao#yuwu#lace speaks
