Last Sunday. 3 hour walk through the parks of our neighborhood with @yeyeokfine, my boy and sir bob the whippet. The parks around here are really nice. Treptower Park, Plänterwald. Especially the Russian memorial park is a hidden gem. Perfect for runs, workouts and ... photos, given it’s beautiful symmetric architecture. Sir Bob the Whippet. A terribly cuddly fella, who makes kitty sounds and runs faster than the wind. He'll be 5 Months old, the day after tomorrow. He may not be the brightest candle on the cake, for the moment at least, but he definitely belongs to the sweetest medium sized greyhounds of all times. #whippetbob

Didn't sleep more than 5.5 hrs per night since 2 weeks. Woke up 5 again today after 4 hrs of sleep, knowing i will have to drive around 950 km today (to Herzogenaurach and back), already accepting that I wouldn't be able to do my 7x1000m intervals according to my training program. Tried to sleep a bit more but a random post on any social platform triggered in me: if you go out running now, you will get both - being in time to deliver the car as well as accomplish your training plans. I even walked and fed the #whippetbob afterwards and prepared coffee and my vegan magic protein smoothie. Will have a proper stretch in my lunch break. Monday morning. Got up at 5 am. Walked the dog (#whippetbob). Cleaned up the kitchen. Made ginger tea. Stretched. Meditated for 20 mins with bob on my lab. Woke up my boy. Supersmoothie breakfast, sandwich with cheese and avocado to go. Put on workout clothes. Dropped boy at school, then on to the class. 8 am. The Loft - as substitute location for @runbaseberlin (closed until Friday this week for internal events). First workout with coach Rebekka in weeks. Felt like coming home. 30 mins high intensity training wrapped up by soft tissue work and a protein smoothie. Last week sick at home.
