There are so many things I like about the Schmicago season of Schmigadoon, but my favorite might be the half-assedness of that German accent.
#schmigadoon#it's classic#how many productions have I seen where I've been like#wow that German accent was half-assed#and she captures it perfectly#also loving the repeated Jesus Christ Superstar musical references#I did not expect so many#who knows maybe some of them aren't explicitly Jesus Christ Superstar references but just sound like them to me#because that is one of the musicals I have most memorized#but IDK other people can chime in about whether Andrew Lloyd Webber or others did those things in other musicals#fortunately only one or two references to godspell that I recognized#sorry Steven Sondheim#usually you are better but alw did the better Jesus musical#schmicago
