Sheppard is being sarcastic, but Rodny puts a plan in place later to rescue Sheppard 48,000 years in the future. 5 minutes into this stupid episode and I'm crying.

Home in the bigger context is just so beautiful.

Up to now, the team has felt a bit fractured. We've had Teyla not being trusted, we've had Sheppard not committed to giving his life for his team, and we've had then leave a new ally behind. Then Home, The Storm, and the Eye.

I love Sheppard and Elizabeth's little back and forth about how they're not going anywhere.

Watching this in chronological order, you immediately know something is wrong because Hammond meets Elizabeth on the other side of the Stargate. He's no longer in charge of the SG-1.

Sheppard, first to notice, because Hammond is telling him how great a job he's done. (Outcast indicates that he never heard that from his Dad, and the way the Sumner and other military leaders treat him, I don't think he's heard it from his superiors.) And it makes me sad that he knows it's wrong because things are good. Atlantis and these people become home because it's the first time Sheppard is actually wanted. Elizabeth straight up told him in their little chat that she wants him to stay. They want Sheppard when no one else on Earth does.

Rodney with no messages on his answering machine made me tear up. They want Rodney on Atlantis when no one else on Earth wants him.

Hospital for souls. The ultimate Goonies.

Sheppard looks so uncomfortable starting at the shopping trip with Teyla. The first time through I thought it was just him being grumpy about girls shopping, but now it makes my stomach turn because I know he's scrambling inside trying to figure out exactly what is going on.

The pause when he sees his Johnny Cash poster. So creepy. And it finally clicked for me why he just casually flips the bottle cap across the room instead of throwing it in the trash. This isn't home. He knows it. He knows this is totally fake.

Sheppard's head is filled with dead people. 😭😭😭

I truly think this is the most important episode in Season 1. This is when Atlantis becomes home.

Sheppard has more holes in his soul, from seeing his dead friends, from seeing his empty life on earth. But he's head home, home and healing. He's going where they want him. Rodney is going where they want him. Atlantis wants them.

The Storm (S1: E9)

I love Rodney standing in front of Weir again and again. I love Sheppard going into total warrior mode.

This is just one of my favorite "fun" episodes.

The Eye (S1: E10)

S: He'll kill them to punish me.

I don't know why, but I found this line haunting. Sheppard's greatest weakness is his people. If you want to hurt him, you hurt them.

I just love these three episodes together. I love how they realize Home is Atlantis and then they fight to save her. Rodney and Sheppard and Weir really bond in this set, along with Teyla, Carson, and Ford. They've really really settled into a great team, great friends who have each other's back. Plus, Kolya makes a great villain.

I hate her for this role so goddamn much 😭

Like her eyes are barely even close to holding any kind of emotion this scene requires of her, and yet at the same time I think this might be the most emotion I have ever seen in this woman's eyes (which sucks because she has these giant beautiful eyes that should be incredible to look directly into and feel in your soul what her character should be feeling but I just can't) and still it feels like she only just barely scratched the surface of what the character should be feeling right now and what the shot/moment needs from her not to mention her goddamn stupid perpetually pouty lips 😭😭😭

Why does she literally always look like one of those instagram models who cannot ever let herself look unpretty in any kind of way even when she's literally covered in grime right now? Like this is FURIOSA she's hot as fuck, but she should be hot as fuck in a grungy, disgusting, pissed off kind of way, not in Anya Taylor-Joy's patented coquette fairytale princess/cottagecore influencer way

Even after watching the trailer and seeing some of her messier shots I cannot stop feeling like she is just such a miscast, they barely showed any of her actual acting in the trailer either so I can't really comment on that aspect at this point, but like so many of her shots in the trailer feel like she should be giving so much more fire to it that she is just incapable of delivering

You know, last March I think, I rewatched Before We Go with my mum, because she had it queued up in Netflix and I saw it when I visited my parents, and I was like 'OH that one's lovely, we should watch it'. So we did, and oh boy, I had a complete meltdown. Like, yikes. It was bad.

I’d forgotten how hard that movie hit me the last time I’d watched it so by the end I was just sitting there screaming internally, fighting tears (unsuccessfully) and trying to restrain myself from kissing the TV screen (how embarrassing). And then my parents went to bed and I just cried my eyes out on the couch for like half an hour about Chris's beautiful soul and then reblogged about fifty Nick Vaughan gifsets on Tumblr in a row, and looking back, I think that’s when the madness started 😔

I don't know why I'm telling you this other than that I know you understand and you feel just as unhinged about Chris as I do and I just saw a Nick Vaughan gifset and just lost it a little bit (well, a little bit more, since I've already been screaming in your DMs tonight as well) and here I am. So here, loveliest Maya, have some Nick. You deserve him for being an incredible human and friend 💖💖💖

Your reaction to watching that movie again is so so valid, I completely understand. Chris is such a hopeless romantic, and that movie just exudes all of that so strongly, intensely? I completely get having a meltdown over that. And over that stupid gorgeous face and that beautiful beautiful soul. Just thinking about it, you know? And yes crying & wanting to kiss your tv screen is also a very valid reaction. Who wouldn’t feel overwhelmed with emotions after all of that? Selfishly, I’m so glad that’s when the madness started for you. Okie 70 episodes into Sailor Moon! Pretty decent batch of episodes. I switched to the viz dub because I was able to find it. (I had been hearing nothing but Japanese anime for too long) Honestly pretty good voices! I recognized almost everyone. Some voices fit more than others and some I had never heard in other anime. Also gave the Crystal dub a retry last night. They kept all the voices the same which was pretty cool. The Japanese dub didn't do that. I haven't looked it up but I'm pretty sure Luna and Rei have the same voice actress. Half the cast are Naruto voices lol.

The Sailor senshi all got new powers! Woooo!

Very much hinting at Chibiusa being you know who's kid 👀 Not liking that they made Chibiusa prefer Rei. Because it feels like this child doesn't realize if her parents aren't together she won't exist 😅 But now the Senshi know that Chibiusa is from the future. Interesting that it seems Pluto sent her to the past instead of Chibiusa stealing a key. Kinda giving her a mission. Its kinda crazy that Chibiusa releases energy (and a lot of it) when she cries. Shows her latent potential actually.

Apparently someone is haunting Chiba's dreams with images of Usagi dying after they get married. I knew he had his reasons but I didn't know he'd be outright forced to stay away from her. He was really mad about it too. Kinda broke my heart. Cuz he loves her that much but he's literally being forbade from being with her. "Death will come to Usagi Tsukino the moment you two are wed"? Bruh that'd make anyone stay away. Also I'm not stupid I can tell Mamoru is giving himself these visions. Sailor Moon characters may have face and voice blindness but their audience doesn't.

Was really worried for a minute. Cuz Chiba was asking Motoki how to make girls (Usagi) hate him and then he was shown blushing at the waitress and next thing you know he's giving her a ride on his motorcycle 💀 Surely this man is not flaunting being with another girl for the soul purpose of pushing Usagi away from him. Surely. Well he wasn't. She's just Motoki's sister and needed a ride to her date with her bf.

I'm proud of myself for making the Sleeping Beauty connection in a past blog cuz Toei saw it too 👀 Usagi had to be awoken by a kiss from her prince 🥰 Don't know how Luna knew he could help though. But because he's still terrified of losing her even after he kisses her and apologizes and Usagi thinks he's taken her back, he rejects her, crushes a rose and says the red string of fate that tied them together has been cut. I know why he's doing this but that's so cruel 😭

Episode 70 was about Koan one of the Supernatural sisters. She was actually kinda adorable lol. Maybe her voice was part of it. Rubeus is a special kind of douchebag. But Koan was given a life as a normal girl thanks to the Senshi, namely Sailor Mars. Good job girls 👍

Side note. Um how does Mamoru Chiba, an orphan college student who doesn't seem to have a job afford a car and a motorcycle..? Mamo was always taking the bus so it was kinda foreign seeing Chiba driving lol.

I know I've been a bit negative about this anime, Namely the treatment of a certain prince. But despite that I'm actually enjoying this.

cal called the daughter in to try and speak to her because he was worried she'd make a complain, and i don't think she was going to make one but she certainly is now! soo perhaps trying to act like sam isn't the best idea?

david's on the psych ward but called nicu to enquire about charlotte and now robyn's trying to find him while charlie and duffy try to stop her😬
