● you absolutely love baking- theres only one problem, your pretty short and you can’t reach for ingredients on high shelves which is kind of an issue.

● you’d have to ask Eren (him and his 6ft ass 😭✋) to grab it for you 

● he would tease you so much omfg- 

● “awee are you to short to reach it?” “hey >:[ please just get (whatever ingredient)” “okay okay-” 

● if you did actually try to reach stuff on the shelf you’d use your tippy toes and he would come up behind you and grab it for you

● “is this what your looking for?” “yes thank you!” *kith* 

● sometimes if the item was flour it would sprinkle some on your shirt and his shirt- 

● “ah- shit sorry y/n!” 

● would try to help you bake 

● it would turn into a full on flour fight 

● if he didn’t help you bake he would just watch you as you were baking and look at you with heart eyes basically

One time you were baking cinnamon buns for your friends, specifically Sasha. You knew how much she loved your baking so you wanted to make her some. 

As you were mixing the batter together your boyfriend Eren came downstairs, he was wearing a red hoodie, black sweatpants and his hair was half a man bun. 

“Hey baby, what’re you making?” He asked coming up behind you to kiss you.

“Cinnamon rolls for Sash.” You claimed kissing him back.

“Oooh can I watch you?” He asked hugging your waist.

“Of course!” You smiled.

He went to sit down and watched you, his eyes looked like love hearts (😍 this emoji basically). You were now kneading the dough, you rolled it out and all you needed was cinnamon and some brown sugar. 

Slight problem though, it was on the top shelf, do you know why? No, god forbid whoever put those on the top shelf. 

You tried getting it yourself, but you were  visibly struggling. You were on your tippy toes trying to reach. It was no use, Eren saw this and came up behind you and grabbed the two things you needed so effortlessly. 

“Is this what you needed baby?” He said giving it to you.

“Yeah! Thank you bub!” You pecked him on the lips. 

Finally you put those two ingredients in the dough and rolled it up, cut it and put it on the baking sheet. You opened the oven and felt the hot air on your face and put the cinnamon buns inside. 

After what felt like forever you put out the cinnamon buns out of the oven and onto the counter. Your house smelled like cinnamon, a comforting smell specially on a cold winter day. He looked excited, with a small sparkle in his eyes. 

“Geez, these smell so good!” He exclaimed. 

“Thank you babie!” You walked up to him to give him a proper kiss on the lips.

You left them to cool down, so you and Eren went to the couch to cuddle and watch a Disney movie. 

You both fell asleep, you gave the cinnamon buns to Sasha, Armin, Mikasa, etc. Let’s say they were all happy when they received them.

Alot of people are mad at eren for wanting Mikasa to love him forever but you do realize he hid that for Mikasa just so it doesn't get harder for her? He absolutely got nothing from the fighting he did selflessly all his life but even in his last moments he chose to be selfless because his concern for Mikasa exceeds his own desires.

And eren thinking Mikasa would let go of him so easily was just bc of Armin trying to provoke him to voice his real feelings. Mikasa chose to remember Eren forever. It doesn't mean she'll always keep crying but rather she'll continue her life and hold onto him. Which is very understandable for someone like me. Im the type who would never let go of something that meant a lot to me even if it kind of hurts me, that's just how I deal with it. It doesn't mean I'll stop my life and keep crying, it just means I'll continue cherishing it along with my life. To me letting go is much harder and hurtful so I completely understand Mikasas way of dealing. Something is capable of giving you pain when it can give to tremendous amount of joy too. That is why I chose to hold on.

Eren and Mikasas deepest desire intervene which is to be with eachother forever but both of the dumbass don't realize and because they never got to talk bout their feelings personally. Mikasa didn't know Erens desire was to live with her so she thought she should let him go, Eren thought Mikasa will move on and forget him so he wished her happiness where as Mikasa held onto him and wanted to be with him too but only let him go because she thought thats what he wanted. Both of them don't realize that they only wanted to be with eachother so they both ended up sacrificing their happiness thinking that this is what the other one wanted.

However Eren is still present with Mikasa which is why nature is fulfilling his promise to her, and she feels his presence...

Mikasa knows her final destination will be with Eren so she tells him "see you later". She believes they'll meet eachother sooner or later. Their separation is only temporary.

Also you don't need a guy to continue your life. What's the point of being with another guy when there's someone already in your heart? Yeah maybe some people does but so far Mikasa isnt that type. Mikasa is someone who wouldnt do something just for the sake of doing it. She only does things she wants to or likes, she's very stubborn. So it's rather out of her character to be with a guy just to please society or that stereotypical Thinking. So ur rather forcing it on her by saying it. That's just how Mikasa is and how she lives. Or else she would agree with kiyomi just to please her. But she isn't.

Summary: Harmony was a young girl who just lost her family, she was more of an open wound then most. When she catches the eye of Eren Yeager her whole life changes and she doesnt realize she might be in love.

She was tired. Her breathing became heavier and heavier the more she ran. This was her 10th time running around the bulidngs how long does he want her to keep going? She starts to move into a slow walk at the lack of oxygen she is starting to feel.

"KEEP RUNNING" her commander yells out.

She looked over to see him standing there watching her every move. She knocks her head back trying to get some relief from the strain in her neck. She huffs out and turns around cause she hears dirt being smashed and she sees its....... Eren. How did he get behind her so fast? She can't get beat by him.

She starts to run faster so he won't catch up to her. "I'm gonna beat you!" she hears Eren yell out. Hes getting closer. Did he get faster?

She cant let him win. "No you arent!"

He comes to her side and now they are running as fast as they can. Shes so close to the finish line, she just has to keep running.

She puts her head forward and passes her commander she starts to slow down her running. "I totally beat you!" Eren says painting.

"No you didn't I beat you!" she yells out bending down to put her hands on her knees.

"DID TOO!"

"DID NOT!"

She furrows her brows at him. She stands up about to go up to him but a hand stops her. Its her commander.

"Do you want more time?" he asks. She turns away from him.

"I shouldn't even be doing this, when he started it!" She pointed her finger at Eren.

He scoffs, "Huh?! You're the one who started it!!" He yells at her.

"For the LAST time, I DIDNT START IT!" She screams.

They both walk up to each other about to punch one another before they both get knocked down to the ground by their commander.

"THATS IT! ANOTHER TWO WEEKS ADDED!" He screams as loud as them.

They went silent after that. "Are you serious?!" Harmony asks.

"Do I look like i'm kidding?" He quirks his eyebrow up at her.

He's not kidding.

"The both of you get out of my sight before i banish you both" he spits.

Both Eren and her get up and go back to their room to get their rest of their duties started.

Shes right. He knows she is right.

"So you want me to sit there and let her disrespect me?" he tells her.

"No, but you dont need to be one step closer to getting kicked out."

He stays silent.

"We need you Eren...." she wanst to say more. (I need you) "We cant sacrifice you because you will be the one to destroy the titans" she says soflty.

"Right armin?"

Armin turns to look at her. "Yes"

"Mikasa don't tell me what to do. i'll deal with her my own way" he says and walks out the door.

They are right. He doesn't want to admit but they are right. He cant let someone like Harmony destroy his dream of destroying the titans.

She huffs trying to get the sticky beans out of the floor. They had two more weeks left to clean out this whole tavern and they werent even half way finished. She looks towards Eren's and sees him standing on top of the stairs wiping away the tea that was thrown there.

She rolls her eyes at how easy it is for him since he is just wiping something easy while shes abou to blow her shoulder out trying to clean this food. "You know it would be alot quicker if you helped me clean this side, you know like our commander said! she growled.

He doesnt say anything back. Is he ignorimng her?

"Hey? Im talking to you! she gets louder.

He doesnt say anything back again.

She throws the silver wear at his head. "Hey! Cut it out!" he yells

"Yeah i can clealry hear you, you sound like a whaling cat!"

Her mouth agaps at the insult, "When im talking to you, you talk back idoit!"

"No I dont, look im trying to get this done and you are distracting me!"

"Distracting you from what excalty, you falling on your face half of the time" he stops and she smirks at how much it got to him. For the past weeks he hasn't been able to do any of the training cause he either falls on his face or is the last one out of all of the them. He throws the towel on the floor ands walks towards her.

"Look! I dont know what your problem is but i don't have time for it. I didnt come here to fight humans I came here to fight titans. I have a dream. A dream that one day I will destroy all the titans, and you are ruining it! So yes im ignoring you because i dont need some annoying wench like you DESTROYING MY DREAM!!'

But she doesnt say anything. She just looks at him.

In a way she saw herself in him. She had the same dream.

She turns around and walks away picking up a towel to help him with the cleaning. "You aren't the only one with that dream you know?" she says quietly.

"Huh?!"

"I'm saying, you aren't the only one who has come here to get some petty revenge on the Titans...... everyone here has lost someone..... someone important to them" she looks away from him trying to fight the tears coming down her face.

What does she mean by that? He thinks.

When she turns around he sees tears welling up in her eyes, he also notices how she is trying to hide them. Why? Did something bad happen to her?

When he looks at her, he doesn't see the same Harmony that threw food on him, or the same Harmony that screams at him every chance she got.

He saw someone softer, like under all that lent up anger was a girl who was lonely and just wanted friends. His eyes go soft as well, and for a moment just a moment he saw the real her.

But it's over in a instant, because she notices how his eyes go soft. She can't let him see her cry, she can't let him so her be so weak.

Her face changes back to that rough Harmony, she walks up to him and punches his arm tightly.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL!"

"GET BACK TO WORK DUMB ASS! she yells.

"Why did you pinch me??!!"

"Because you are just standing around and we have to get this done, now get back to work!" She walks away from him going back to picking at those beans on the floor.

But Eren doesn't fail to look back at her one last time. Who was Harmony really?

......

"Next group step up" her commander says. Shes next up to use the MOD gear, she isnt nervous at all. She's observed many people getting in it and it didn't seem too hard.

But was she so wrong. Getting into was harder than she thought. She can't even put her leg up in the suit because it gets falling out from under her butt.

Eren looks over and sees her struggling and he can't help but feel...... guilty. But why?

Why should he feel guilty for someone who has been insulting him since he first got here. But even then he can't help but feel guilty at the fact that he has a chance to help her and is not trying to take it.

He runs up to her since no one was even trying to help her. He guesses that's her effect, ever since she got here she hasn't really mad a lot of her friends. But that's her fault though she rude to everyone who goes nears her.

Even so he still shouldn't leave her like that. "Hey. You're doing it wrong!" He blurts out.

He was no expert on this himself but he at least knew how to get in it.

She turns around and looks at him with a deadly stare. "What the hell do you want Yeager?!"

"Nothing..... it's just- here let me help!" he walks up to her and reaches to grab the cords pulling up the MOD gear but she instantly knocks his hand out of the way.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" She shouted.

"You're doing it wrong!" he yells out.

Her eyes go wide at what he just said. Is he trying to help her? Like hell she will get help from him.

"I don't need it" She says while still struggling to get inside of the gear.

She huffs at her stubbornness. "Yes you do, now listen to me!" He grabs her hand roughly and puts it on the cord she immediately pulls away.

She didn't know what to do or say. She hasn't had a human touch like that since..... well since that day.

"NO!"

She pushes him down to the ground and Eren yells out in pain.

"YOU THINK I NEED YOUR HELP ASSHAT?!" She screams for everyone to hear.

He stands up quickly, shocked that she even pushes him down so fast. "I was just trying to help?!" he yelled.

"I don't care! What gives you the right?!"

"It's not my fault you don't know how to work this thing!"

She stares at him for a long time. What can she even say to that? He's right she doesn't know how to do it.

But out of everyone why did Eren have to be the one to help her? He thinks he's so much better than her doesn't he?

"You think you're better than me?" She snaps.

"What-"

"I'll show you, who is really going to defeat the titans" She points her finger to her chest and walks away from the crowd that was being brought up next to them.

What the hell just happened? Eren thought to himself.

Getting out of that hot sun was honestly the highlight of her day today.

Sitting in the Tavern that didn't have those massive food stains on the walls was so peaceful. Not only because she got to eat here but because where she sat she could look outside the window and see the sun go down.

She sat by herself most of the time and she liked it that way. She wasn't much of a talker herself but all she needed was herself at this point and that's all that mattered to her.

But she can't help but look down at the people in the room and get..... jealous. She wouldn't admit it but she was mainly jealous of Eren. She was a very good observer and she saw the way Mikasa and Armin treated him.

It's like they would both die for him and she wishes she had someone like that in her life. Well at least she did..... at one point.

Shes not saying she wants someone to die for her because she honestly can't handle another person dying in her life. But she wants someone to care for her again.

She missed it. She missed when someone worried for her. She missed how her mother would always patch her back up when she ran a little to fast and fell and scrapped her knee. She missed when her father would read her a bed time story because she could not sleep cause of the night storms.

She looks down at all the people laughing together and drinking together. It reminds her of the time her family was celebrating her 7th birthday party.

How her mom made her, her favorite birthday cake flavor, and how her uncle ended up getting so drunk he couldn't even stand on his own two feet.

She smiled.

But that smile was soon washed away by the tears that came down her face.

She misses those times. She misses the times where she could just laugh with her family and be happy.

All of that was taken from her, it's gone now.

That's why she has to kill the Titans. That's why she has to destroy them all.

But the bright side of this is she doesn't have to worry anyone else dying on her. Now that she was alone she didn't have time to worry about other people.

That was a good thing.

"AHHHH!" WHATS GOING ON?" An old man yelled out.

"SWEETIE GET BACK INSIDE!" A women screamed out to her lover she didn't have time to reach out to him because he was already being picked up by a mindless titan.

"HONEY!" She yelled out to him.

A little girl came running outside. "DADDY WAIT!" she cried tears pooling around her eyes.

"SWEETIE GET BACK INSIDE!"  another lady ran out to the young girl.

"MOM!"

She was more of an older women, she could barely even walk but once she saw her precious grand daughter out there it's like she could run a whole mile.

Everything goes black and the little girl is alone.

Shes alone in the dark space.

"Hello!" She calls out but no one answers.

She walks around holding on to her doll her father made for her.

"It's your fault!" She hears faint whispers in the air.

"It's your fault!" she turns around and no one is there.

"It's your fault, you're weak" multiple voices start to pile on top of one another and they eventually start to scream at the little girl.

She covers her ears but it's no use her head feels like it can explode. "Shut up!" she yells

It's no use.

"STOP!" she comes up from the deep sleep she was once in.

Another nightmare.

"Are you okay?" She hears a familiar voice call down to her. She looks up and sees her roommate at the top bunk.

Sasha was her name.

"Yes i'm fine" Harmony tells the girl.

"Are you sure, you were tossing and turning a lot last night" Sasha tells her.

"Yes, i'm fine like I said" Harmony spits getting angry at the constant nagging she was doing.

Sasha refrains from asking any more questions, she clearly knows when Harmony is in one of those moods.

She feels like a furnace, she's too hot to be in this little room so she leaves out the room to get some fresh air.

It's still dark outside? How long was she asleep for? It had to have only been a couple of minutes.

She looks up at the sky, she can't help but get lost at looking at all the stars in the sky. She wishes she could count every single one of them. There was always to many though.

She did that a lot with her mom. They would come out here and count all the stars till she slowly started to fall asleep. Well she would pretend to be asleep. She smiles at the memory.

But starts to cry once again. Why can't she stop crying every time she thinks of her mom?

Eren was only trying to get a pale of water until he saw Harmony close by the well. He stops, he doesn't know why though?

He usually would never stop what he was doing just becasue she was around, it's probably because he wants to see what she was doing.

She was looking at the sky, why was she out so late? Could she not sleep?

Wait why is he worried about what she is doing? It's not like he cares about her anything......

He gets interrupted by his thoughts when he hears a faint sob leave her chest. She's crying? But why?

Should he say something? No she won't like that.

He does the only thing he can think of and just walks up to the well and pretend he never saw her.

Yeah that's the perfect idea, he thinks.

She turns around when she hears someone coming up behind her she thinks it's Sasha again and she tries to mentally prepare herself for the questions she is going to get asked but when she looks over it's not her at all.

Instead it's him. Eren.

She doesn't hide the eye roll she does when she sees him.

"Hey to you to then" he sarcastically says.

"What are you doing out here?"

"Why is it any of your business" she interrupts him.

"It was actually quite hilarious because it was the first star that had appeared in the night sky, we named it that because it was a reminder to us that we won't let anyone stand in our way" he looks up again and Harmony just sits and listens.

"It was basically a promise between all three of us .... we've kept it ever since" he says.

Their friendship is so powerful. Her heart tugs at the feeling, she feels....envy.

When he looks back at Harmony he can't help but feel like he has seen her from somewhere.

Maybe she wouldn't feel this way if only she had her family still here. If only that day didn't happen. If only she had did something to help them.

"It's your fault"

She turns around looking at Eren thinking he spoke. But it wasn't him.

Eren doesn't know what to do or say. He just stares out to her. She takes deep heavy breaths and he wants to reach out to her again but he is scared at getting yelled at again.

She tries to stand back up and turns and looks at Eren who has a confusing look on his face.

"ITS NIT MY FAULT!" she screams at him. What is she saying?

Why does she feel like this? She feels like she just run another one of those 10 laps. Maybe she needs to take a nap. Yeah sleeping will help.

"Harmony-" he tries to reach his hand out to her but she punches him instead.

"Stay the hell away from me! I know what you're doing. You trying to find my weak points right? Well that's not gonna happen, because i'm not weak!" she hissed.

Eren hold his face in his hands. "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM YOU WITCH?!" He screams. But she is already inside her room before she can insult him back.

Just when he thought she has changed she went right back to who she was.

Maybe there wasn't anything special about her? Maybe he is just imagining things. God he hates her.

He spits blood out of his mouth and grabs the bucket and gets water from the well, but he stops for a moment.

Maybe there isn't another Harmony hiding under all that hardness and roughness. Maybe that is who she is.

It can't be though. That day she seemed so different, what's wrong with her now? And why the hell was she screaming that way? Is she in pain?

So eren died and J/ean waited long enough, so he gets rewarded with mikasa as if she's just some prize. Im so disappointed.

Im getting real tired of ships that have nothing but one person liking the other and they get their crush solely by just being there and waiting to be rewarded.

This isnt to say that J is bad person but thats not the point of criticism towards ships like this. The point is that being nice and a good person does not = development and does not =good relationships material.

All of J and Ms interactions are in some way always about eren. Otherwise what is there? They're friends by default and thats it. Theres never anything in the whole of series that showed them with chemistry or mikasa feeling anything towards him. Its always been J -> M <-->E

Its literally just well eren died and J is a good guy who loves her so ....i gues she has to move on with him.

Not to mention how utterly unfair and cruel it is to be like well if Eren is dead then Mikasa can finally notice J. Like how is it cute to know that if eren was alive she'd never look his way.

Im upset at the utterly lazy way this was handled. This has always been my fear that in a desperate attempt to be like, "no no mikasa isnt pathetic and single and crying about eren for eternity" she end up in a time skip relationship with J. And looks like thats were we are.

The way mikasa lost the love her life and then was sloppily put in the time skip relationship to try and make ot better. Im livid. Why does she have to be married to be happy.

summary: as your 18th birthday is coming up, you realize there is no better time to confess your long-held feelings for a certain someone.

“You’re not 18 yet, it’s illegal, you know.” His expression was serious, contrasting the infamous eye smile usually seen on his perfectly sculpted face. Your lips tightened to a line in determination as you stared at him, eager to at least get some sort of response to your wild confession. 

It was dumb, you realize. Going for your neighbour, who you’ve been in love with for as long as you could remember. At first, everyone (including you) just thought it was the type of crush that little girls have on like 20-year old celebrities. However, a three year age gap is really nothing compared to that, and you knew it wasn’t something small when you would see him take out the garbage for his family, or when he would play basketball on the streets with his friends. When he left for university three years ago, you heart crushed, your longtime dream seemed to be over. But he always comes back for the summer, and you realized this summer, there was a chance at anything happening between you two, so you went for it. 

“We could be very careful! Plus, I’m turning eighteen this year!” You underlined with a strong gaze. You weren’t going to cry, hell no. Or, at least you weren’t planning on it, not unless you hear him say he doesn’t love you directly. And from what you remember, he hasn’t yet.

“That won’t work. Plus, all my friends know you’re younger than me we couldn’t even keep it some sort of secret, or something like that.” He shook his head, but you seemed to have perked up at what he said.

“Wait, you talk about me to your friends?” A smile was starting to find its way onto your face as you saw the boy before you get a little flustered. You’ve never met his friends, so how would they know who you are? 

“Uh, no.” He seemed to have gotten a bit flustered at your statement, now unable to look you in the eyes, finding his shoes a bit more… fascinating. This indirect confirmation was enough to make you smile wider. 

You laugh inwardly at his highschool-like-antics. His sudden nervousness bringing out some unknown confidence. “You know, you were the one who told me not to be scared to saying what I think.”

“I said it because I didn’t think you would confess to me.” He justified, making you take a deep breath of disappointment. Well, this was it. This was pretty much the end of everything. And as much as you’d like to never see his face again, Jeno was your neighbour, and it was the summer, so seeing him would be inevitable. 

“So, is this a rejection?” Your voice came out smoothly, unlike the nerves taking over your insides. Jeno’s eyes narrowed briefly as he crossed his arms over his chest and watched your expression. He couldn’t tell you how cute you looked as you stood before him, or how your eyes sparkled and made the stars dull in comparison.

“I don’t know. Do you want it to be?” He questioned. Your eyes widened and you faced him, craning your neck upwards so fast a pop was almost heard. The disappointment you felt slowly disappearing as you looked up with bright eyes to your neighbour. 

“No!”

"Then? You tell me what it is." His lips curled upwards and he would never know how much you'd wanted to kiss him back then. You took a breath, tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear and stared into his eyes, forming the proper sentence. 

The proper sentence. Not too bold, but not too shy. Not too like you, but not too un-like you. Not too detached, but not too clingy. The perfect proper sentence.

“When I turn eighteen, I’ll come and confess to you again.” Not the most perfect sentence, but you were running on emotions, not logic right now. Words were flying off your tongue so fast you wouldn’t even dare to stop them. You looked to the side, trying to avoid his gaze, but your eyes betrayed you and flickered back to him. His expectant yet knowing smile widened, his eyes turning into small crescents. And that was all it took before you, once again, lost control over your words. “And you’ll tell me you love me too!” You almost choked on the words as they left your mouth, making Jeno’s smile turn into a chuckle.

“That’s pretty bold.” He stated, his eye smile shining like a pile of diamonds. Then his hand went through his hair, fingers going through his soft black hair as you dreamt of yours doing so may times. 

“You do promise me you’ll say it, right?” Your gaze was penetrating and your lips were pulled back in anticipation. What you were expecting was a nod, or some sort of verbal confirmation. What you got, was neither of those two things. 

Jeno’s lips curled up again, his eyes disappearing. “We’ll see.” 

Once again, a breath of disappointment left your lips and you sighed in defeat. If he was this adamant on not telling you his answer, he might as well have said no already, instead of continuing to string you along. God, why was this man so annoying, yet so perfect at the same time? 

“Promise me!” You partially whined, because of how he seemed to be avoiding everything His hand reached out to ruffle your hair but you pushed it away and stared up at him expectantly. What you wanted was a promise, and he knew he had to give you one, because that would probably be the only thing keeping him from chickening out at your next confession. 

“Fine. I promise I will give you a definite answer next time. I’m not promising what the answer will be, however.” Despite Jeno thinking his words would upset you further, they didn’t (he suspected because you already knew he liked you, considering he hasn’t formally rejected you yet). 

“Then expect me to be back soon!” You joked, grinning so widely it was like he told you he loved you instead. 

Jeno nodded slowly, his chest erupting into butterflies at the fact that you returned the feelings he’s had for quite some time, as he watched you leave his house.

“You can come in, you know,” Jeno says as he steps to the side, letting you enter his house. You leaned on his staircase as he did the same against his wall, and although you were confident, there was still a small part of you hesitating. You'd practiced this enough times to know you'd memorized perfectly each and every word you wanted to say, but the mirror never once gave you an answer that could identify with the one Lee Jeno would give you in just a few seconds.

“I’m eighteen now…” You started. Your voice was steady and you tried to look as confident as you could. He stepped forward, coming off the wall and making his way towards you, stopping just in front, as close as he had stood exactly three months prior during your first confession. His gaze was firm as well, but there was something along the edges of his calm features that told you this time may not go as smoothly. 

“I know.” He stated casually, not addressing any sort of implication behind those two words, leaving you to dry like a fish out of water. 

“So I’m not underage anymore.” You added, crossing your arms in front of your chest as you kept an eye on the male to decided to play dumb, even though he knew exactly where the conversation was going. Jeno nodded thoughtfully and his head was tilted innocently to the side, but his eyes were carefully tracing your every feature and how it reacted to his words. He wanted to test how long you'd draw this out for, but that didn't really matter since the real test here regarded his own restraint and how long it would hold.

“One of the things that comes with it, yes.” He drew out with a smile, making you take a deep breath and stare determinedly at him. And for a moment, Jeno felt like he was back in his thirteen-year-old self babysitting you and your ten-year-old self asked for a snack. This time though, you were eighteen and he was twenty-one, and the snack you wanted was him. 

“So--”

“So?” He cut you off, watching your expression gradually turn more and more impatient with every minute that passes by. He was just as desperate for you to get the point as you were, and he wanted to see you reach it. 

Your features contorted in mild anger before you took hold of your feelings and calmed down a bit. Only a bit. Your eyebrows were furrowed and your mouth was pouting stubbornly. God, it was so adorable he couldn't help narrowing his eyes at you softly. You looked like such a kid yet at the same time had matured considerably over the years.

“So be with me!”

It left your mouth abruptly, reminding you of how you lost control over your words during your first confession. Jeno softly smiled in response. “That’s not what I promised.”

Your flustered face, and now downcast eyes were enough to remind him not to chicken out last minute. He stepped closer to you, the space between you both getting smaller and smaller. Big, warm hands engulfed yours and you lifted your face to see his. His eyes had transformed into small crescents once again as he stared longingly into yours. 

“Before you think this is going where you may think it’s going, let me speak,” he stated, “when you were younger, I never really thought of you that way. You were six, and I was nine. You definitely weren’t in my thoughts at all.”

You grimaced at that.

“But, as time passed, and we grew up, you grew on me. Soon, I started to want to hang out with you, and I would make sure to play basketball when I knew you were back from school so you could see me as you were walking home.” He smiled sheepishly.

“At first I thought it was because I just liked your presence, but when I left for university, and saw your face, I fully registered that I was in love with you. If I wasn’t I wouldn’t come back every summer. You know I only come back for you, right?”

With that, your heart leaped out of your chest, like a firework ready to explode. A smile started to make its way onto your face as you stared at the boy you have loved for so long. 

He loves you back.

He continued, “you made me wait a lot you know. It was hard for me to look at you and not kiss you. Especially after your first confession. God, you have no clue what you did to me.”

You leaned up and pressed your lips to his, sighing in satisfaction as he brought his hands to your face and kissed you back. When you pulled away, he brought your face back in and kissed you again, more passionately, trying to convey what he’s been feeling into the kiss. 

“I love you so much,” he said between kisses.

“I love you too.”

It was strange, going about life knowing you were missing something. You had memories of a past life you had once lived. A war torn time where beasts called Titans once roamed. It was terrifying yet these memories of them seemed to calm you in a sick way. You remember your old friends and the nice memories you made with them. But most of all, you had memories of a man you had considered your boyfriend.

It was weird remembering this, especially because while he was someone who held significance in your past life, you had no idea who he was now. You had never seen or met this individual, yet he had such a grip on your heart.

When you had been reunited with your old friends from the past you took solace in finding people who were going through the same things you were. You had found your friends when you were all 10 years old, which made it quite hard to deal with. But together you all pulled through it.

Armin, Eren, Mikasa, and you had all reunited when you had moved houses, ending up going to the same school as them. It helped with the move when you had people like them close to you. Now you were much older and had met up with many others.

Today you were hanging out with Eren and Armin, they said they had something important to show you. But they couldn’t quite tell you what it was. They way they made it sound was as if they had kidnapped some poor dog or something. You hope eren hadn’t tried to kidnap someone else’s dog again.

Once arriving at the house you noticed a few other cars in the driveway, a few of them you could remember as Ymir and Historia’s cars but the others, no idea. Knocking on the front door, you were greeted with Eren’s mom, who looked like she was in the middle of making some food. She immeditetly pulled you into a tight hug, asking how things were going and how good you looked. Eren obviously heard your voice and ran up from the basement, grabbing (y/n) away from his mom and rushing her downstairs.

(Y/n) was still trying to process the sudden change of scenerary at first. She finally came to and noticed there were more people then eren had originally told her would be there. First off, Mikasa and Armin were there along with Ymir and Historia, but then there were people she hasn’t seen in forever.

“SASHA, CONNIE, JEAN!! OH MY GOD. TELL ME THIS ISNT A JOKE!” She yelled as she dropped her bag and ran to hug them. Sasha was the first one she got to, who picked up her and spun her around.

“(Y/N) I MISSED YOU THIS IS SO NICE!!” Sasha exclaimed.

Next, She went for Connie, who quickly attempted to do what Sasha had tried but failed.

“oh my god, Connie it’s so nice to see you, this is so surreal!!” She said, hugging him tightly.

Then was Jean, who seemed to dislike how loud they all were, but still gave her a hug. This hug wasn’t as energetic at the others but held the most emotion out of the three hugs. It was a tender embrace.

“Good to see you too, Horseface.” You said with a smirk, as jean pulled away and plopped onto the couch.

It seemed like everyone was here, yet someone was still missing. It made her sad that he wasn’t here, that she wouldn’t be reunited with him yet.

Eren had a cheeky smirk on his face though, the little shit. He was hiding something and you figure you knew what it might be, hoping it wasn’t just wishful thinking.

Rolling your eyes, you looked at eren. “Cut the shit Eren, what’s going on?”

As you entered the room there was two noticeable things. First, Eren needs to clean his goddamn room this is so nasty. Second, holy shit Marco was there. You nearly cried. You shut the door and pressed your back against it. Marco was looking over at you, smiling at you. Though this wasn’t his usual nice smile, no this was like he found the most important thing in the world, a big dorky smile. His eyes were watching you intently, as if in disbelief this was real.

You both stayed on two sides of the room until you both realized this was real. You ran to him, tackling him onto Erens bed. The two dorks were holding each other and laughing, kissing each other every so often.

As you sat together, reliving all the memories you had together you remembered the last time you had saw him. You felt yourself cry, as if you were there again seeing his dead body. Marco understood what was happening and couldn’t stop the tears from coming. He held you close as he rubbed your back.

“Hey, come on, (y/n).” He said, trying his best to wipe his own tears away.

“Marco, I’m sorry. I just, I can’t stop thinking about it. God, I’ve missed you so much. It’s been so hard without you.” You cried into his chest harder. Letting out all pain you had felt.

“I know, I didn’t want to leave you that early but....” he looked away, not wanting to remember what had happened. “I’m sorry, I love you and I won’t leave you like that again.” He held you closer to his body.

“Please don’t leave me, I love you. I love you so much.”

You spent a good 5 more minutes in each other’s arms, crying and grieving together. After that the mood felt like it was finally brightening again. You and Marco began wiping the others tears, occasionally sneaking a kiss here and there.

“God,” you sniffed out, wiping your nose, “I missed you so much.”

Marco scratched his nose, before replying. “I missed you too, so much.”

“I was so disappointed when I went down stairs and I didn’t see you down there.”

Marco laughed to himself. “That’s what eren wanted, I think. He made me run up here when he knew you were on your way here, god that was the longest 20 minutes of my life.”

“How did they even find you?” You asked, playing with his hair.

“Well, Jean had gotten a Facebook message from Armin the other day and they said they had been looking for us and that they wanted us to come join them this weekend.” He gave you a quick Eskimo kiss. “Luckily we only live in the next town over so we weren’t inconvienced much. I’m just glad I finally found you, though it would’ve been easier if I had check Facebook I guess.”

You snorted, laughing at Marco’s last comment. “You can’t take all the blame, but I guess we all can’t be as smart as Armin.”

You and Marco laid upstairs until the rest of the crew down stairs felt that they had had enough time alone. But that didn’t stop the young couple from enjoying the company of one another.

This definitely was a better surprised.
