Ceramic mosaic art used to be very popular in my country. Broken plates, mugs and sugar bowls were used to decorate walls of detached houses or public buildings. Those are two examples from Pruszków, a town near Warsaw. The big mosaic was designed by Wiesława Gołajewska, an artist specializing in ceramics. That particular mosaic can be seen on the front wall of a kindergarten building. In the last three photos you can see mosaic decorated pillars of a detached house turned into a beauty salon and a parcel drop-off point.
