Huntlow Brainrot Finale Time Let’s gooo!
Well, I say brainrot which by all means it is but this final portion of this essay/analysis/rant/distraction from doing some housework etc. is fairly grounded by my standards. Anyway let’s get to it.
This segment is primarily more focused on Willow than anything else. In particular this scene:
Personally, I am of the opinion that this is by far the lamest thing Willow has ever done and I mean this in the kindest way possible. Part 1 of this hell that I have created went over how certain scenes exist for the purpose of ship teasing. And this is by far probably the most direct to the point example of that concept for these 2.
I want to temporarily ignore the wink/finger gun as not only is it the one of the most generic flirty expressions in animated media it’s also a loud enough gesture to distract you from the real odd aspect of the scene.
That being that no one else is around for this brief exchange. There has been a lot of debate on whether Willow’s friendship with Hunter is meant to be strictly platonic or not from her side and I think this scene heavily leans towards the latter
Willow deliberately waits until Amity, Vee and even Gus(her bff) are out of the shack and presumably ear shot to address Hunter. Privacy if you will. Wanting to borrow the book to engage herself with his interest by itself is pretty normal as they are friends.
But when ya consider that Gus is the person who introduced Hunter to the book series ya kinda stop and think: Wait if Gus is also a fan why didn’t she just inquire about borrowing the book from him or Hunter when he was in the room with everyone else?
The answer pretty much explains itself from there.
To conclude these brainrot posts I would like to clarify that by no means do I think this is definite proof that this ship will be canon. Moreso that Willow is fairly observant of her love interest’s crush ahead of time and that there’s defiently some level of interest on both sides of the deck here even if its fairly new and not like in love like our main ship Lumity or even the complicated situation that is Raeda.
Maybe it’ll be explicitly canon or maybe just implied. Dunno. My only real takeaway is that there’s more factors leading to them progressing at some point down the road rather than a rejection. If Willow truly had no interest she would have told him by now. She’s too observant not to.

realized when i was doing a scaled 'floorplan' for the 40 gallon mouse tank that i MOST CERTAINLY do not have enough clutter for that tank and it will be very bare bones.
luckily i found a place that has pretty cheap mouse and rodent toys/hides so i got like 10 different things for them there---almost all of it being hay-made (bc i put in a little triangle hay tunnel in with them and they destroyed it literally overnight. was so disappointed bc i wanted it for a semi-permanent structure. soooo to make sure they don't destroy the next one i got a bunch of hay stuff they CAN chew.)
got two little hay wreaths, two hay tunnels, a large 8in hay hut, a small 5in hay hut, another 8 in hay TIPEE. two 6in cholla logs, and THREE hanging hay wigwams (they were actually sold as outdoor bird houses in a three pack compared to the *one* sold for mice which was the same price--major deal.)
oh and then another wooden bridge, 2 little metal skewers to hang produce on, two more triangle tunnels as well as a smaller little hay ball they can crawl in, a hanging apple wood toy, a 5in terracotta honeypot jar (sold for aquariums), a 9in multichamber hide, and 2 seagrass chew balls (bc the main colony cannot get enough of that shit)
and then locally i got another terracotta pot (regular one) bc i saw on Pinterest a woman put te pot upside down and stuffed amaranth and millet sprays in the drainage hole. i thought that was a cute way to add clutter and also they could use the space underneath as a small burrow. and then a glass jar for sushi and mochi.
i pulled a hammock, l shaped platform (i don't think ima be using this one tbh), a little plant pot, a willow ball, and three little houses i pulled from storage and am planning to use, too.
all in all these girls are SPOILED and they're gonna be in for the time of their lives in a week.

Saw your science fiction Bakugo AU post.. and…
Could we get a fic about that..? Like ANYTHING in that genre? Please. 🥺
alright alright i will admit......that i have had a sci-fi plot in the drafts for him for some time that i have always thought about and it's like. katsuki is an engineer on the colony ship we've been volunteered to, and we knew him beforehand so.....it's a bit awkward that we're paired up with someone 🥺🥺 but 🥺🥺🥺 we're getting out of cryo mid-mission just to extend our time with him 🥺 before we arrive and have to start a brand new life 🥺 so there's that !!!!!

me when i’m writing a paper about the history of grass in america and landscaping because of the stupid founding fathers and the lack of forests and the invasive species EVERYWHERE and insects cant eat those species but theyre stealing all the resources and theres WAY less insects than there should be and most species in the US dont have a high enough population to effectively do their jobs in their respective ecosystems BECAUSE theres no bugs to eat and it runs all the way up the food chain because bugs are how most energy is converted from plants to animals AND the animals have nowhere to live because of our obsession with grass and perfectly trimmed lawns with only the occasional invasive species as decoration and we cannot escape this hell without planting native plant species and actively removing invasive species
