Jfc Windows, forced updates are one thing but unannounced forced updates that automatically install and reboot my computer overnight are something else entirely, like actively hostile to the user. I frequently leave calculations running overnight when I leave the office so that they're done when I get back in the morning, but now I can't trust my computer to not shut itself down and kill the calculation. Clown shoes operating system.

im sorry for windows 11 hateposting (again. i have the heart of a stubborn 86 year old grandfather) but ohmy fod i wanted to see general opinions on windows 11 and like. Tjose are pros to you? you LIKE minimalism? the window snapping shit would drive me fucking crazy. and ops "one gripe" actuwlly sounds infuriwting i think i would die. one day i may have to use it but thank god that day is not today
#if im being real i think im gonna stay on windows 10 like. even after its eos#cuz like what newer programs am i running? if i can run a browser and my fifty million emulators then im literallt good#and considering chrome still runs fine on windows 7 i think i will be okay for a good long while#knock on wood.
