#wip: moments (boyband au outtakes)

katie, love, darling, the smartest person in my life - i need, you don't understand how much, the outtakes of boyband au. i will die.

in all seriousness, though: thank you so much for asking!! the boyband au has such a special place in my heart, so i am only too happy to tell you a little more about its sequel-of-sorts ❤️

i say "sequel-of-sorts" because it isn't QUITE a sequel in the traditional sense - like the WIP title says, it's a collection of outtakes. this means everything from deleted scenes to bonus/extra scenes that fit in the same timeline as the main fic, some POV switch scenes, and also perhaps a future scene or two.

some of my favourite outtake ideas so far:

a deleted scene where the boys bicker about the description of them as a "British-French boyband"

a bonus scene detailing pierre and charles' first meeting in the X Factor bathrooms

another deleted scene, this time an extended version of the changing room confession scene, ft. galex

a very sad scene that was in the orgininal planning, but never got written/got cut - wherein pierre finds charles crying after a tough show, but charles pushes him away

another bonus scene featuring tour bus shenanigans

an alternate confession scene revolving around the 1D song "i wish" and how charles wrote it for pierre

bonus future scene: pierre and charles' first time 🤭😏 c'mon, i wrote an entire 50k fic with no smut at all. but that's a lot of time worldbuilding, and you can BET i have headcanons for what their first time was like!!

and finally - this one is still quite up in the air, but it's a strong possibility thanks to my beloved @welightitup - a longer spinoff/sequel telling a landoscar story in which lando is essentially niall and oscar is josh devine/the band's drummer 👀🥁

yeahhhh... as you can probably tell, i have a lot of thoughts about this AU. oh my god. SO MANY. i am obsessed with this little world i've created, and as soon as i get my writing mojo back and time/my other WIP commitments allow (so yeah, 2036 🤣😭) i am SO excited to start posting the outtakes <33333
