I hc that john makes (not by intention) arthur laugh at the stupidest or weirdest things he says..like some corny shit during a shootout and arthur pretty much trying not to laugh his ass off and get shot.

And john laughs at Arthur’s roasts..towards others or towards him. Arthur’s good at analogies imo and when he comes up with creative roasts john wheezes (cue to when he actually laughed when arthur roasted him in the beginning of train robbery mission) John can handle banter..even creative insults so yeah
