i looove how girly astarion and gale are… like i fully believe they have catty arguments where one of them runs out of rebuttals and says WELL YOU’RE FAT and the other man just gasps and rips one of his expensive blouses. when they arent arguing they have a big chaise lounge called the fainting chair and they have to take turns with it

#i just… ooh #and i love how intentional it is #with all the inverted tropes present (dramatic wizard - fancy rogue)#its nice to see it sort of transfer to gender tropes as well #like most of the men (halsin being the exception) are pretty puny and small #and seemingly very preoccupied with their appearance or their devotion/service to another character #while the women have their own goals and faiths that arent necessarily attached to one character from the get-go #agh. i love it. bless the writers and artists of this game #bg3
