tbh i kinda miss early kase-san era mikawa. she was so mean for no reason n that entertains me
#.txt#i mean i wouldnt say shes mean intentionally as much as she just. does not think before speaking#i think that the dynamic she n yamada had was kinda interesting#with mikawa being someone who definitely jumps to conclusions n blurts out her thoughts without much filter#and yamada being the kinda person who is sorta easily like...#shes someone whos easily swayed by mikawas words bc of her own insecurities#n her own tendency to think of the worst when it comes to things around her (school n personal relationships)#you can see how much of the conflict in the early series was caused by mikawa saying something n yamada internalizing it#i kinda wish that aspect of their relationship was explored more but oh well#early kase-san definitely shows how inexperienced the author was n how they werent sure how long the series was even gonna go#bc it was meant to be a oneshot at first right. n then ppl just wanted more of it#kase-san definitely has its flaws especially in the first series. but i think some of those flaws bring some charm to it#kase-san
