i just spent ~3 hours making one batch of pancakes from an 'estimated 20 minutes to make' recipe 🔥🔥🔥 DONT FUCK WITH ME 🔥🔥🔥🔥
#anyways. i made pancakes this morning#woke up at 5:40 specifically for the purpose of pancake cooking when nobody could bother me <3#surprisingly they actually turned out decent. i didnt make them with baking powder at first because i thought we didnt have any in the hous#i was like '...its prooobably not that important right'#and i was right lol they were flat as hell and a bit crunchy but were still edible. actually a little good.#later my aunt woke up and told me we actually do have baking powder so i added it to the batter halfway through cooking the pancakes#didnt do too much. just made them slightly fluffier#so i still consider it a success with or without the baking powder#incredibly proud of myself!!! <3 im learning!!!!!#was a fun experience. would do again.
