Preparing for Passover at Sundown tonight. The Passover feast commemorates the exodus from Egypt and it anticipates and celebrates future Messianic redemption and fulfillment. Passover is an important time to observe the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. That night in Egypt, the Angel of Death was to smite the firstborn. God commanded the people to take a lamb and apply the blood on the doorposts of their homes to be a sign for the Angel of Death to “passover” the house. My Pastor has been ministering about applying the blood on the doorposts of our homes as a means of protection.
