Memories. What did they even mean? Why did we collect photographs and capture things that were in essence, temporary. Maybe it was because they would transport you to another time and place. To be something else for a few moments and have a different feeling about life. Maybe it was an attempt to preserve things you experienced, because you knew the moment would fade away. . It was always weird for me to look at photographs from a long time ago. Because it took me somewhere very far away, just a brief page in my imagination. And you would naturally compare the past to the present. I couldn’t imagine the person that was in the frame because she was buried somewhere deep in my subconscious. Photographs were tinted with the colours of another life, with the shades of melancholy that it had evolved so fast. . In a sense, everything we saw was just a photograph. The present moments that were being lived were also just memories that faded away the second that we came into contact with them. It was just the content that kept changing but the frame of reference was the same.
