the character everyone gets wrong
there are so many different characters I could put here because i'm so picky about character interpretation here on tumblr.edu
I think im going to go with Caduceus right out of the gate. i have seen literally Every Possible Take on his character and I have yet to see someone that I agree with 100% on their interpretation of him. on God I don't think that I have a 100% solid understanding either -- I think I get it wrong about him a solid 25% of the time and then have to revise my opinions. His characterization is hard to pin down because there's a lot of contradictions in there!! Which I love about him!! He's simultaneously trying so hard to be understanding in a world that is completely foreign to him while also being REALLY judgy and kind of condescending about it sometimes!! and I see people fall down really hard on either side of that fence most often, or tbh usually simply ignoring his more complicated character traits if im being honest LDFKSLJFS but yeah I've read basically Every interpretation of him ever and I pretty much always find something to argue with lol
13. worst blorboficiation
oh i have so so so so many characters I could put in here. i mean there's always the King of this trend. Pre Ragnarok Era Loki was the Original Poor Little Meow Meow that made me want to fly into a rage bc it truly was impossible to find any fan content that didn't poor little meow meow him into oblivion for years. being a thor stan was a hard time back in the marvel heyday LMAO
from critical role I think mollymauk got blorbo'd HARD because he wasn't around for very long, the details we got about his backstory were vague, and the Amnesia Cover meant that fans could make up any tragic backstory they wanted. his Much Rougher Edges got filed off both in and out of canon as time went on and I've been on the record being annoyed by this since 2018
