most people see him as frail and insecure, but he has a hidden strength of character in situations most would find horrifying

as if being an asexual teen with trauma wasn't hard enough, now he's a newly formed forest cryptid as well

he's still trying to figure out how his powers and new body work

what if you loved your best friend so much that your love took root in you (literally) and grew (again, literally) until it couldn't fit inside your body anymore?

What if you metaphorically gave said best friend your heart and he literally cut open his chest and gave you his beating heart in return?
