hello, hello! this is my dEmoN son demian flint. i had a lot of fun writing up his intro, especially because i rarely play non-cinnamon-roll characters. please like this post if you’re interested in plotting with him and i’ll come to you, or you can pm me if you have any ideas already.
( park jimin. ) – is that ( demian flint )? according to witch weekly, the ( 23 ) year old ( half-veela ) is a ( hitwix ). they are notorious for being ( manipulative ) and ( two-faced ). but according to the other ( ravenclaw ) alumni, they’re ( affable ) and ( ambitious ). it’s no wonder the ( wizard ) is referred to as the ( janus ).
BACKGROUND: marcus flint has always been a surly bastard with shitty luck, but 2003 had been a particularly troublesome spot. he’d barely kept his position on the Falmouth Falcons (the shittiest team in the league) and consequently lacked the money to feed his modest booze habit. like a charm, life chose that moment to place a baby at his door—this is some harry potter bullshit, marcus thought to himself—the note clenched in the boy’s fist indicating that this was his son by that beautiful veela he’d shagged one night while at an exhibition game in antwerp. circe forbid he be lonely and not face any consequences, eh? a mediocre man in nearly everything besides the sport he loved, marcus flint approached raising his child with the same rigor (and pragmatism) he did quidditch.
CHILDHOOD: demian joined marcus at all his games as soon as he could walk. as a result, he breathed and lived quidditch the first eleven years of his life, and no one could really resist babying the beautiful, ethereal boy (flint, is that even really your kid?). as soon as he entered hogwarts, however, demian soon grew interested in charms, hexes, and everything in between, delighting in the sheer breadth of utility magic afforded. he sweet-talked his way into the restricted section of the library, all while burning through all the muggle forensic books he could find—sunday morning radio pulp fiction was a staple in the flint household, marcus nursing his weekly hangover and demian trying to guess at the murderer before the reveal.
OCCUPATION: aurorhood seemed destined for demian, but the ministry refused to certify a half-veela, citing some incidents in demian’s past (the quidditch hoop had been nearly broken anyway, and demian’s well-placed hex hadn’t done any permanent damage) as proof of his unstable temper. they were happy to let him be a hitwix, however, and demian took the job with a cold, polite smile. he’d show them, he thought, slowly compiling the resources to bring down the old, species-ist fogies in the ministry. it’ll take a while yet, but demian can wait; every time he gets impatient, his targets get manhandled more than usual, but nothing out of the ordinary.
PERSONALITY/WANTED CONNECTIONS: demian is a scorpio ISTP, making him both ambitious and secretive. demian rarely lets anyone in, and most people perceive him as a mysterious, if friendly, presence in their lives. i think demian would enjoy having a partner-in-crime, someone who doesn’t need the emotional attachment of a relationship to appreciate his talents. i’m also open to writing flings, one-night-stands, and fuck buddies of any gender—demian has a voracious appetite in general, and he’s not one to deny himself. as for friends, for now he’s a bit too closed off for me to visualize that happening, but i think he’d appreciate allies in the fight to allow more flexibility in the jobs available to non-human beings. (feel free to hit me up if you have any ideas you want to throw my way, btw!!! i’m v open to talking about things, hehe.)

Hi! I’m Dane (they/them pronouns, please) and this is Sasha!! Below the cut is a bunch of information about her. Definitely feel free to hit me up in my IMs and we can chat and plot!!
( adelaide kane. ) – is that ( sasha gould )? according to witch weekly, the ( 26 ) year old ( muggleborn ) is a ( reporter for witch weekly ). they are notorious for being ( nosy ) and ( dishonest ). but according to the other ( ravenclaw ) alumni, they’re ( charming ) and ( resourceful ). it’s no wonder the ( witch ) is referred to as the ( snoop ). || ( ooc: dane, they/them, 20, cst )
Sasha was born to Juliana and Brendan Gould, their third and youngest child. Eva and Cecile, the twins, were five years older than her. They were always in their world, and Sasha always tagged along, nothing short of an afterthought. It was the twins’ world and she just lived in it.
When she was young, Sasha was unremarkable. It was her sisters who were being watched. They had dance recitals and musicals and band concerts. They had sleepovers and parties. Sasha idolized them.
The one thing she can remember from being younger is that when her sisters had friends over, she would take notes. She would write down quotes and descriptions, and everyone always said, “what a cute little reporter she was”. That stuck with her ever since.
She was writing an application for a school with a creative writing program when her Hogwarts letter came. At first, she was going to turn it down. She told her parents no and that went on for days.
It was when she first went to Diagon Alley that she changed her mind (her mother told her to give it a try). She saw the stores and the weird creatures. There was so much to write about. It wasn’t as dull as the normal world and she could just imagine --
The Statute of Secrecy burst her bubble. But she was probably the only eleven-year-old on the Hogwarts Express that year that knew what they were going to do with their life. School didn’t go fast enough and, as much as she loved magic, she was more in love with the stories she could find.
In school, she was nosy. She was a gossip. Frankly, she still is. She had a complex about knowing everything she could. She would eavesdrop and trade secrets she knew for secrets she didn’t.
When she finished school, she started freelancing. She would send in pieces to magazines and papers. Some got published, some didn’t. But she got better. She took critiques and feedback and worked hard. Finally, she got a job at Witch Weekly. It’s not her dream job but it’s a job and it’s consistent. It’s going well.
HEADCANONS
Sasha’s dream job is to work for the Daily Prophet. She wants her name to be on the byline of the cover story that is delivered to every house in the wizarding world every day. She’s determined to get there. Whatever it takes. She’ll do it.
Sasha lives in a flat in Diagon Alley. It’s small. There’s barely enough room for her and her cat, Linus. But it’s hers and that’s what matters. There’s a radio and a couch and a basket full of cat toys. She has a scrapbook filled with cut-outs of her articles.
She doesn’t talk to her siblings much anymore. They’re living seperate lives, though that’s really nothing new. But they go to dinner at their parent’s house on the third Saturday of every month. THey cheer on each other’s successes. They send each other Christmas cards. She’s trying to decide whether or not this bothers her.

hello all, i’m ali & i live in the eastern timezone! i’m currently a teacher and i’m the assistant director on the elementary school play so i’m typically more active late in the afternoons, but i’m lurking during the day on mobile. this is artemis, my love. i’ll be posting victoire’s later once some details are worked out, but in the meantime, i am down for plotting on either!
❝ ( emma dumont. ) – is that ( artemis carrow )? according to witch weekly, the ( 22 ) year old ( pureblood ) is a ( photographer at witch weekly ). they are notorious for being ( impulsive ) and ( pessimistic ). but according to the other ( slytherin ) alumni, they’re ( independent ) and ( adventurous ). it’s no wonder the ( witch ) is referred to as the ( arcane ).
Twins clearly run in the Carrow family. Artemis is the daughter of Flora Carrow along with her twin brother Apollo. Their mother was young, barely out of school when she became pregnant with the twins. She refused to reveal to her family who the father was, only that he was pureblood and married. Flora willingly left her family and her own twin sister behind with her two children to make a life for themselves.
Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. Flora was killed in a simple accident with the twins were two, leaving no choice but to send them back to their family. Artemis has never really known any other life than that of living with her aunt, Hestia. She remembers the lullaby her mother would sing her and her brother and the faint smell of her perfume as she would kiss them goodnight. Everything else has been tainted by the shame she brought the Carrow name.
And for a while, Artemis believed that. She was sorted into Slytherin along with her brother when they went to Hogwarts. Though they were never cruel, it was obvious where their beliefs lied. Artemis was in her sixth year when she began realizing how antiquated her family’s beliefs were. They expected her to marry a pureblood out of school and raise children when she hated the idea of being tied down. She began to branch out, to her family’s ire, and explore her options in the world.
After she left school, she left her family as well. She became a photographer and eventually landed a job with Witch Weekly ( something her aunt detests) and has cut off all contact with her family.
Artemis never met her Aunt Alecto and Uncle Amycus ( for obvious reasons ), but she heard her entire life how they had let the Carrow name down for their actions. Though her family was always focused on blood purity, they hated that members of their family had been part of something so ghastly ( and mainly had been on the losing side ).
Artemis isn’t a muggle-loving Slytherin by any means, but she no longer shares the antiquated pureblood belief that they are less than her. She still has the tendency to act like she’s better than others, but it is something she’s working on. All she really wants to do is have fun and go on adventures, but she knows she’s going to need to settle into a real life at some point.

this is theadora and she is a babe.
if you are ever looking for theadora burke, the former slytherin is most often found in a little shop within knockturn alley called borgin and burke’s. more often than not, she’ll be sitting on a stool, legs crossed, a magazine in her hands and a glower on her face. she doesn’t look out of place, surrounded by the dark and harsh artifacts, what -- with her sour expression and bitter words.
what few know is that this is the last place she wants to be. the little flat she lives in above the shop is light, a sharp contrast to the dark shop below. fairy lights twinkle on the wall, pictures of pretty places are displayed in frames. it’s cozy and warm.
thea has never held any fondness towards her last name. she knows the darkness it holds, she knows where the past burkes’ allegiance fell. she doesn’t understand why they did what they did. her heart aches considering all who hurt and suffered because of deeds her family was complicit in.
what she is sure of is that she is not like the rest of them. she has to ignore the bitterness that builds up easily in her heart, she has to move past the feelings of jealousy. her sorting into slytherin did not help her feel better about herself. still, she seeks redemption. she wants to show that burke is not synonymous with evil.
still, it’s easier to stay close to home. she feels shame and guilt that should not belong to her, seeing the descendants of war heroes and victims. if she stays home, they’re more easily avoided. despite all the hope she has, it’s hard and she is scared.
maybe one day she’ll move past her fears. maybe one day she’ll be able to say her name without trepidation and fear of how people will react. she isn’t quite sure what she wants to do with her life. she wants to travel, she wants to be free -- those are things she knows with certainty, at the very least.
headcanons
she’s a bit reckless when it comes to the artifacts that come through the shop. she’ll forget to label a curse or misplace something. usually it doesn’t land her in trouble. other people, however, are not as lucky.
on her breaks, she usually gets an ice cream from florean fortescue’s and wanders around diagon alley. some are her best memories are the people she’s seen, or whatever she’s spotted through a store’s window.
she’s an affinity for muggle music. when it’s just her in the shop, there’s a record player in the corner that she plays music on.
basic relationship facts.
friends. my poor sweet summer child probably doesn’t have very many friends. while at hogwarts, she likely did not want to befriend many in her house -- why would she? she still associated slytherin with evil. and the rest of the houses? they certainly wouldn’t ever want to be associated with her, right? still, there might have been one or two people who befriended her. maybe they could see past thea’s self loathing. maybe they saw something in her that she didn’t. either way, thea would be nothing short of loyal to them, thankful a thousand times ever and more than she could ever say.
enemies. honestly, thea would have seen herself as the enemy of most. not for anything she did or they did most likely, but for the actions of her family. she would avoid them, and keep her gaze down. she would be curt and cold. honestly, most of these could be fixed, if and only if thea learned how to accept that the mistakes of her family do not belong to her.
