hey this is chance and here’s week 4’s prompt. how do strangers within the world view your protagonists? how would they describe them? and how does this contrast against how the protagonist views themself?

AAA this is a question ive been personally working on!

Lenora

People see them as awkward or cold, as they don’t let many people get close enough to witness their true personality. Many think they don’t care about anyone or anything due to their lack of speech or participation in almost anything social. They just see them walking to where they need to go with a timid expression and accept that as their only personality trait.

Lenora themself thinks they’re fine with their current mannerisms. They don’t enjoy having to focus on too many people, so they don’t make an effort to. Besides, the people they really are close to are often their upmost priority.

Xen

Many who have seen Xen acknowledge him as calm and laid back person. He knows everyone, does almost everything, and is a hotspot for gossip. Others who have seen or faced the wrath of his pettiness, think he’s not as funny as he makes himself out to be.

He himself thinks very highly of himself. Xen believes most things he does are just, as he only wrongs when he has been wronged. He has always thought he's a form of life in parties, and a joy to be around. As long as he's respected, he'll be cool.

Marlowe

People who have heard of Marlowe for a while think of her as either still scary or redeemed. Often, old classmates or victims of the 'shining hits' think she's a ticking time bomb hidden behind a rainbow smile. Others see her as an energetic cutie with a love for everything.

Marlowe still thinks she can better herself somehow. No matter how nice she makes herself appear, she slips up from time to time. All she can think about is how her baby brother would feel about it. There’s always something she can do to be better, she thinks.

Ruine

It seems everyone knows Ruine, but few know Ruine, if that makes sense. He gets around, being acquainted with everyone at least once or twice. His calm nature makes those around him naturally drawn to him in a way.

Ruine himself doesn’t quite know what he feels about himself. He knows he helps others out a lot, and he has the ability to regulate others’ feelings somehow. But other than that, Ruine just sees himself as… Ruine. Maybe it’s just something at the back of his head that makes him feel that way…

“ Everyone has a sound, y’know. Some are high pitched, some are low pitched. Some sound squiggly and others are straight and to the point. I don’t know what to call it. Their souls… make sound. Or that ‘aura’ thingy Marls’ sister talks about. Whatever the hell it is, it makes sound. And frankly, not many people sound like what I expect them to. Especially my friends. They don’t sound… like them. Ruine doesn’t sound like Ruine. Marlowe almost sounds like Marlowe. And Lenora is far from a Lenora. That make sense? Nah? Well, damn… Let me explain. “

The main 4 are wheel kids thanks to Roll Bounce 😌 Lenora uses skates, Xen rides a skateboard, Marlowe rides an bike, and Ruine rides a electric scooter!

They all ride their wheels of choice to get to the sites and since the story takes place in ✨the future✨ Xen’s board, Marl’s bike and Ruine’s scooter can fold up and Len keeps them in their backpack!

Scottie goes on adventures with the Tableware sometimes, but his outside time is usually limited due to Will being the asshole he is

12 of the deities represent a zodiac constellation with the exception of Esmay and Risstus, who represent ying and yang!

Esmay blessed a few humans/human couples to become nivretta in order to have sunkai, so the deities other than Morden, Vedite, and Dhoros have mortal parents!

On that note, young nivretta are called sunkai, singular is sunkiss, (Risstus would never kiss a baby tho LMAO) and they are referred to as such until they are 18, from 18-40 they are referred to as sundin, singular is sundown, and from 40 up they are just referred to as elders!

To Esmays...dismay, Inanis and Axien chose not to have sunkai, so that explains why there are no more mothfolk or alicorns in modern times

Plants are the worlds main source of energy! With new technology people can create energy without taking up/chopping down plants! It’s very common to see apartment buildings “overgrown” with greenery!

Down with the corporations! People have come to realize that these big corporations aren’t required anymore and most of them have been replaced!

gonna be working on body type references for the main crew once all their refs after their refs are done so these r just design points for me to remember lol

Lenora is a little on the plushier side, having a tiny bit of a tummy and fluffy thighs/arms

They also have a small birthmark under the center fluff of his hair shaped like a flower (like morden)

Xen is more on the slender side, but still has a bit of pudge around his tum

He and his brother got their beauty marks from their parents, and theres a bunch

Some I can think of are: Under the right corner of his mouth, Under his left eye, over top of his bellybutton, two on his left ankle, and above his right hip

One if Ruines legs is longer than the other, at it shows in the way he stands. It doesn’t hurt, its just awkward

Marlowe is the plushiest, and is more round than curvy. She does have her rolls though, the most prominent ones being the one across her belly and right under her chest

Her calves are pretty refined from riding her bike, but no one really notices because she has like a million leg warmers
