I first explain what the Guardians do and then Perseus <3

The Guardians are people guarding over the nation which was assigned to them. They often work with the ruler of said Nation very close together (but exceptions exist like always ofc). Normally they were also immortal - but due to some .... Changes theyre mortal now and the most of them are dead because the Dysphoria already killed many of them.

Also the Guardians have some sort of area they're the best in - for example there exist a Guardian of Fears (another oc of mine) whose powers are all related to fears, ykw I mean?

Also the Guardians work close together with the God's, because a God (another oc of mine) made this Guardiansystem decades ago. <3

And! The Guardians always have some sort of a leader (the God of Creation who is still alive; means it changes always after the God dies)

That's basically it

Now, Perseus reason to join the Dysphoria was because he got betrayed by the Guardians. He, himself, is one - and Despoina knows it and sees it as an exception to leave him alive (but under the condition that he helps them killing other Guardians and God's). Perseus is the Guardian of Energy and due to ..... Well, an accident - he may.. mayhaps accidentally kill the old leader in the Guardian war (yes they had a war at some point), but it wasn't his intention to do so - he got kicked out nonetheless. Perseus is someone who never experienced something like a stable home - he experienced it first with the Guardians. And when he got kicked out - it literally destroyed him internally. This was the day where he joined the Dysphoria and wants to get his revenge. <3

Henotic and Ilmestys were both first bad ones because Despoina taught them so, but as time passed Henotic (God of Peace and Harmony) realized it's bad and he left the Dysphoria with Ilmestys (cuz Ilmestys goes everywhere where Henotic goes LMAO they have some sort of Brother-Sibling dynamic (Ilmestys is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, oh and they're the God of Destruction btw<3))

Both of them hide it, although Henotic can hide it better than Ilmestys (let's just say.. Ilmestys brain is filled only with games and fun and stuff, like a child)

But Despoina knows they're God's nonetheless and will kill them too, some day (it's her goal)
