i feel like this isn't something that really comes across in all of my reeves verse batman hate but i genuinely do still like the castings for the movie like they were good and frankly as much as i don't trust rpatz at all as a person i do think he's an incredibly talented actor and i do think he had all the potential to play a compelling bruce. the problem is that he was given a script to play a manchild

#like when i picture it in my head i could totally picture wry and pathetically charming rpatz batman working but #instead what we got in the movie was wet sopping dog. and it's like yes that is a stage in bruce's life. but not until at least fifteen #years down the line lmao. he's not supposed to be a wet sopping dog in the beginning. he's really purposeful and intuitive and he wants to #help people and listen and try and idk i didn't get that from rpatz batman at all. like behaviorally #he just felt so emotionless and i felt no connection to him whatsoever #to be deleted
