So. I said I am being beset by an imminent emergency, necessitating the jacket to be finished far faster than anticipated.
On Thursday evening I got a message from a lovely vet I know called Clara, needing some immediate help if we could.
It wasn’t surprising somehow, I’d been thinking of her and the place she works repeatedly over the last 24 hours for some reason.
The rescue centre she was working at that day has a dog who was brought in as a stray, and isn’t coping at all with being locked in a kennel environment.
And is in immediate need of a foster carer.
He is a Border Collie/Lab mix perhaps with some German Shepherd.
And he is 14 weeks old.
This is the photo she took of my imminent emergency. He arrives at 9am tomorrow.
