Thinking about the inherent cognitive dissonance involved with Augustine believing herself the savior of Conduit-kind while simultaneously manipulating Fetch into reliving her trauma for the purposes of making her into a weapon and outright torturing Hank and Eugene and keeping every single Conduit in Curdun Cay in solitary confinement. the dissonance between seeing yourself as a benevolent protector of the helpless masses and seeing those exact same people as tools only you can wield if they do as told and expendable and disposable if/when they don’t suit your needs. what a character.
