I had a whole rant prepared but I felt like my feelings were better summed up in a meme.
#people saying packing premade food to events is trashy or running errands with friends is bad can suck my wiener#that's the point#people who say a car is freedom and not a mode of transportation for emergencies and necessity can suck my wiener too#I will keep biking and I will keep bringing little picnics with me everywhere#I love outside food and I love hiking trails with friends and I love it all#but tbh I would have folded if it wasn't for all the support here on Tumblr#especially with cooking#I used to hate to cook#like 6 months ago if there was nothing to microwave at home I wouldn't eat#but now? Now it's different#I love all the pictures of cooking and fresh fruit#they make me feel much better#yesterday I made some puerto rican inspired chicken stew and it was really good#and I've been making my own boba#but I wouldn't be if it wasn't for the romanticization of cooking#goat talk#even today I had yogurt with banana and pansies and granola which isn't really cooking but I prepared something for myself
